Waggy Doo Dahs - state 11- over and out!!!! Today is the day I hung the boots up.
Having your own business is a bit like having a baby. It's yours, you nurture it, work hard for it, it grows with you and is something you are immensely proud of and always will be. But this baby has matured now and it's time to move on and hold the fondest memories.
I have met some amazing people and feel so lucky to have done so. Thank you to each and every one of you.
I am honoured and blessed to have walked your wonderful dogs over the years and I will miss each one dearly - I won't miss mopping fox poo off them though!!!
Can't even explain to you the bond you build when caring for other people's dogs. I think only a feeling that other dog walkers will understand.
It is NOT goodbye, it's see you around, but you may not recognise me as I should smell better, have my hair done and not be in waterproofs.
I won't miss the mud, the poo, the fox poo, the human poo (yes I have had to clean this off a dog more than once!) the heavy rain, the numb fingers, the dirty car and the mountains of towels drying in my lounge every week but I will, more than you will ever know miss your dogs.
Thanks for the amazing memories over the last 6.5 years. Thanks for the love, the well wishes, the cards and gifts. X

This emotional but short week at Waggy Doo Dahs
Not so many pics for you this week as had a couple of days off and 1 day working was waaaaayyyyy to wet to have the camera out much.
As most of you know I am shortly hanging up my dog walking boots (even typing this makes me well up!) so this week I have said goodbye to a couple of dogs. I can't tell you how heartbreaking it is. You genuinely build up such a bond. It's not goodbye - it's see you around soon. Looking forward to the next couple of weeks with the dogs and more tears will flow of that I am certain but also excited about the next chapter.

This week at Waggy Doo Dahs.
Bitter sweet as I have said goodbye to 2 amazing dogs who I love. I have reduced my working Waggy's days for some work experience, study and personal development and sadly this meant having to pass over 2 pooches to another dog walker due to the day of the week. They will be in great hands and I hope I get to spend some time with them in the future. Shed a proper tear or ten. Thanks for being amazing.
