Recall isn’t about understanding to return when called. It’s about trust (both ways), me being the most rewarding thing in the environment, play, partnership, respect……… all that good stuff!

Treats under sports cones!

We practiced self control - waiting until the activity was set up, to be released from a sit.
And problem solving - lift the cone to access the treat.

He loved it and was ready for a good rest when it was time for me to leave.

I had a lovely week popping into this tiny puppy!

Walks at this age are about feeling happy and confident experiencing the outside.
Exploring, tasting and smelling everything - safely!

Getting from A to B is the last thing to think about.
Sometimes we just pottered back and forth very close to home, but that’s ok - I saw his confidence grow each day 🙂
