Anyone after body work on their lorry / trailer, interior repairs or updates, professional polishes or even a bespoke lorry build Excel Commercials highly recommended very professional with a can do attitude. Plus bonus they own horses so they get it!!

Following on from our successful Kelly Marks and Intelligent Horsemanship demo on Saturday at Bull Farm I have some time to take on new clients. All aspects of training covered from Ground work, loading, ridden issues, clipping to vet related issues ( eg injections, worming etc) and long lining. This lovely chap had an interrupted trip to schooling at Pycombe due to transport failure. He chose his place well😱😱😱right on a roundabout on A road. After a little persuasion ( he had never been on a 3.5t ) he was loaded and Road reopened. Remember to make sure your horse generalises their loading by experiencing different vehicles.
Remember I am the only Intelligent Horsemanship Recommended trainer who runs transport.

Afternoon all! I was on a lovely job today taking a client to a ride in Sevenoaks. However my blood ran cold when I saw a lorry ,loaded with its precious cargo ready to go home, then the driver locked all the horse access doors before they set off. Whilst I appreciate the need for security please don’t ever do this!! If the lorry is involved in an accident or catches fire you DONOT want to waste time fumbling with keys to unlock doors!! Every second will count!!

Lovely to be welcomed as a trainer to Intelligent Horsemanship by Kelly. It’s my understanding I am the only trainer providing transport as well.

Some words from our lastest IH Trainer Jo Powell

"I am based down in East Sussex. In a previous life I was a teacher for 25 years and a head teacher for 13 of those. Then I realised life was passing me by and went in search of life. Which turned out to be horse transport which I have now been doing for 6 years.
I have been involved with horses since I was 6- too many years to mention- I discovered Monty and Kelly in those early years of demos in the UK.

When I got my current mare in 2010 as an untouched 6 month old I wanted her to be trained with these methods. She was started by Jim Goddard and she is just the most lovely horse you could ever want( I know we all say that!)

Once in the transport business I came across many tricky loaders- there’s a surprise. I wanted more tools in my tool kit so I persuaded IH to let me do the Leading and loading course however in doing so it left me wanting more so I embarked on the full journey and here we are!!

I have my mare, Bella and her yard / arena companion a 26 inch Falabella, Midget ( Rockstar was her showing name at previous yard) at home. I live with my husband Chris, my son Ben ( although he’s threatening to move out soon 🙏) and three dogs ( 2 rescues) I compete Bella mainly in BD but then I occasionally fall back in love with showing, we gained 6th at Royal Windsor last year(? May have been 2021 )

I am super excited to continue my learning alongside all of you. I see Charlie quite often and she’s been a great support on my journey so far.

I think that is a fairly accurate summary.

I am thrilled and very excited to be continuing to learn with all of you guys!! Really well timed email too as just got a super super worried loader now loading and travelled 😊"
