Our week of walks has come to an end but what a lovely time we had 🥰🐶
This handsome chap's owners were away and needed some additional support for walks - I was happy to step in and help! 🐾
I have been doing ad-hoc home visits and walks with him for a few years now, and even had an overnight stay last year while his owners tied the knot 🧡
If you have any trips, days out or maybe even your own wedding coming up, and need someone to make sure your pooch gets all the walks and cuddles they deserve, get in touch! 🐶

It was Whippet Sunday today and I couldn't be happier, I definitely have a soft spot for the breed! 🥰
Do any other dog lovers have a soft spot for a breed even if they don't have one themselves? 🤷
Two walks today (4 if you include walks with my own pack - which my legs definitely do!! 💪)
There could be many different reasons for a one off or ad-hoc walk/s
⭐ Older parents looking after the dog while you're away and needing additional support.
⭐ Family day out so your dog is home alone for a long period of time.
⭐ An Injury meaning you are unable to walk your dog yourself for a short period of time.
⭐Work commitments or shift work.
⭐People visiting your home for a party/event and needing your dog to have some enrichment away from the home.

On Monday we went to our new local secure dog field Warren Dog Park, my mum joined with her nearly 12 year old black lab Bonzo 🐶
Louie hasn't seen him in well over a year but was happily off lead and without his muzzle sharing space within the hour!! We are growing his positive experiences with calm and uninterested dogs to build towards a calmer and more focused Louie 🤞🧡
The field was great, the dogs had a wonderful time, there was a bench and some shade by the shelter, clean fresh water and activities for the dogs. The biggest attraction was by far the in ground trampoline which was a winner for the dogs and Emily. So double tick for dogs and families! 🐾
We will definitely be back! We are off to visit two more secure fields over the weekend that we haven't been to yet, keep an eye on our stories to see how we get on!

Can anyone else figure out the weather this week? ☀️🌧️
My car is now full of jumpers, coats, wellies, sunglasses, woolly hats and sun caps because who actually knows what you need?!?
My week of walks with this amazing duo has come to an end, we really have been out come rain or shine this week!! Always such a treat to see those boys, and already looking forward to seeing them again soon! 🧡🐶

What mental stimulation do you do for your dogs? 🐶
For when the days are busy so walks may be a little shorter, a high energy or young dog, or if you have a dog on restricted exercise mental stimulation is a great way to
* Help with boredom
*Reduce anxiety
*Improve behaviour
As well as being fun for your dogs! 🐾

In the first it was a complete downpour of rain and the second it's gorgeous sunshine! 🌧️☀️
Thankfully the boys had their coats on and we managed to stay dry and enjoy the sunshine when it reappeared! ☔

Weekend walks 🐾
It's always lovely to see familiar faces, if you've got a busy weekend ahead or just away for a day, I can pop in and get your dog out for that much looked forward to leg stretch! 🧡

After a wonderful week away with the family at centerparcs - our first as a family of four - I am back and slowly replying to messages.

I had the pleasure of seeing a familiar face this week 🐶
Before my maternity leave this lady was in the M&O pack and was always such a sweet girl 🥰 Her owners were in need of some short term ad-hoc walks and I was honoured to be asked to step in 🧡
It's been so lovely to speak to clients old and new and get to see some old and new faces 🐶😺

Daisy met up with one of her pups today! 🐾
This handsome boy belongs to one of my good friends, he is Louie's brother so we are lucky enough to still see him 🥰
We went to for a run around and obviously the labs went for a splash in the water!

These two handsome boys welcomed me into their home over the weekend while their owners were away! I always love staying with them and having a cuddle on the sofa! 🥰
I have been walking and pet sitting for these boys for nearly 4 years now, they joined the M&O family in the first year and they have always been such a pleasure 🧡

A shorter walk for the boys today thanks to Storm Darragh, we went for an on lead and open space walk today! 🍃
But a secret all dog walkers know is we don't mind the rain because it always makes for a quiet walk with fewer people around!! ☔
Now home to warm up and have a cuddle on the sofa 🥰🐶
Stay safe out there and if you feel it's safer, just skip the walk for the day!! 🧡

The last of the the team... Becky (myself) 👋
Hi! I am Becky, owner of M&O Animal Care. and I've been up and running as M&O Animal Care for 4 1/2 years now and I absolutely love my business. The joy I get from spending my days with your pets is truly indescribable!
I have two wonderful children Emily (2) & Oliver (4 months) along with my home full of pets, and wonderful husband who I met 10 years ago when I was only 18 years old. My husband, unlike me, didn't grow up with dogs in the household but that soon changed when we started dating. I have lived in and around Newmarket my whole life and have now lived in Red Lodge for 6 years with my lovely family.
In my free time (which any working mum will know is very rare 😂)when I'm not looking after my children or working, I enjoy going for a run or training with Louie. I love a little sunshine holiday every year and we always try and do a staycation with the pooches as well!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas 🎁
After a wet walk this morning, we came home and had a cosy afternoon watching 'the Grinch' and putting up our Christmas tree 🎄
Between the three dogs, two cats, toddler and baby, we're placing bets on who will pull the tree down first 🤣
