Once again it’s upsetting that we supply classes that are requested, but with no one or not enough people coming forward.

So tomorrow (Saturday 31st) is going to be cancelled.
HOWEVER, I will still be at the facility for training purposes and will be supplying any 1:2:1’s for anyone who needs the support.

-Instead of charging you full price for a 1:2:1-
I will offer a 1 off…! £10 on the door.

Overnight care for these beasts!

A pleasure and a joy to care for this household.

Providing a service where you’re away from home, can sometimes be uncomfortable, not this home.
They make me feel at home like I live there.
Sometimes mental health will rise, but will never affect my job and these beasts always put a smile on my face.

We had MULTIPLE exploring walking, secure fields, loads of cuddles with the cat, hearing the squeaking from the guineas in the morning and plenty of slobber everywhere.

Benefits of overnight care instead of check ins:

•A good clean of the house before the client comes home, makes them feel refreshed from their time away.
•Time to give the dog exploring time.
•Time to work on behavioural problems.
•Tired dogs who have had plenty of exercise.

What fantastic news we all just got over the weekend!

New Law: The Pet Abduction Act 2024

For all Dog and Cat owners, we are now starting to be heard for our pets, meaning they are now not being seen as an object.
5 years jail sentence has been introduced for someone stealing our pet, and or a fine. (Making sure your pet is microchipped as this will support the cases.)

The amount of pets that go ‘lost’ over the past few years has increased and nothing was done about it. So it’s about time the government stepped up.

So let’s hope we get justice for our beloved pets.

In the week, I had a client surprise me with a beautiful and heart warming gift.

Sunflowers and a lovely card to thank me for supplying a service for their dog whilst they are at work.

This was their exact text after me thanking them:

“You’re welcome Rosie you’ve really helped us out and never let us down and we appreciate that!!! We will be booking with you whenever we need to in the holidays thank you again ❤️❤️”

My clients don’t know the struggles I have been dealing with in a day to day, so they don’t realise how something so small, like this, can really give me a boost and make my day.

All just because I was able to fit them into my schedule and never let them down. How sweet! 🥹

So thankful for some of my beautiful and amazing clients.

❤️BORDER COLLIE MEET! ❤️

Decided to arrange a play meet date for all border collies out there for my birthday in September.

The grief of my youngest border collie still hits me hard and I really could do with some happiness and love to honor my boy.

There will be no charge for this, just sign up for the 23rd September 2024 (time to be arranged) and come give me a free birthday gift.

It will be held at Christmas Hill Dog Park (due to car park space) , no time arranged, possibly afternoon/evening. Please feel free to request times.

I am off on holiday: 11th October - 14th/15th October 2024.

First time in years I finally have a holiday that doesn’t include work or volunteering.

I will be available for contact but won’t be booking any sessions.

For clients who need a session booked and can’t find cover, Hardwick's Happy Hounds is my back up pet carer who I highly recommend. Please contact me first and I will communicate with Claire with all details.
