A pleasure and a joy to care for this household.
Providing a service where you’re away from home, can sometimes be uncomfortable, not this home.
They make me feel at home like I live there.
Sometimes mental health will rise, but will never affect my job and these beasts always put a smile on my face.
We had MULTIPLE exploring walking, secure fields, loads of cuddles with the cat, hearing the squeaking from the guineas in the morning and plenty of slobber everywhere.

Decided to arrange a play meet date for all border collies out there for my birthday in September.
The grief of my youngest border collie still hits me hard and I really could do with some happiness and love to honor my boy.
There will be no charge for this, just sign up for the 23rd September 2024 (time to be arranged) and come give me a free birthday gift.
It will be held at Christmas Hill Dog Park (due to car park space) , no time arranged, possibly afternoon/evening. Please feel free to request times.

Here’s what I’ve been doing the last few days to bond with Nala.
Unfortunately her sister is not longer with us but it does give us time to bond.
Nala is one of the sassiest and the most naughtiest…
As in she will go out of her way to attack you if she could.
I have done three sessions and I thought, great she hasn’t gone for me… progress!
Until I went to leave the house, she guarded the door, quickly jumped on the window sill and before I could move she got me 😂
Anyway this is the most progress I’ve got with Nala, where she was so relaxed 98% of the time.
This is the sort of thing I did to get her comfortable with me getting low to the ground and her coming close to me, calmly.
I don’t just work with dogs, I work to bond with cats and all animals.

Do they remember me Live? YES! Kai and Nova have been a joy for progress. Kai (darker, is reactive but is ‘aggressive’. Which I hate that word for him because he truly is gentle but will act upon his feelings if he feels threatened. Do they remember me? A live with Nova and Kai, one of my favourites to care for. Kai is reactive especially to new people and can act upon it if he feels he needs to. I’ve made a great connection with them so let’s see how they respond

Who would like to know how I handle Harvey?
He’s been a client with us for a year and we built a great connection for our overnight care.
Since then, our sessions have been minimal and the bond has dropped. But…! We still have a connection… just on edge.
Harvey will snap if he feels threatened, fearful or unsure and a lot of the time it’s not needed. But Harvey truly is a sweet heart.
So how do you think I walk in and take him for a walk? If his behaviour is to be watched out for?
… yes he has tried snapping the first time I met him, but that was the only time. The most I get now is pinned ears and white eyes.
Fenrrir & Jace are such a well trained pair ❤️
Once either dog has been trained by them selves, it’s a good challenge to bring another in place.
Your dogs should respect the commands with other distractions… but people ask how do you get that transition?
It’s a good question but I don’t see the point in explaining to many people because they don’t understand, consistency is key!
Want to get where you want to be? Then work and train hard for it.
