*Matting*
Doodles need to be groomed ideally every 4-6 weeks, any longer will result in matting if they are not thoroughly brushed daily. Fresh start for this little lad & feeling much happier in himself 😊

This little lady came in on Saturday but got a little stressed as it had been 8 months since she was last in, so she went home half complete. I hate to be defeated but I also do not see the need for a dog to become overly stressed. She was a superstar today letting me finish her clip 😊 welfare must come first 👍🏻

** Ear plucking **
Plucking the hair from certain breeds ears is beneficial as it allows air to circulate through the ear canal and prevent moisture build up which will result in infections & irritations.
Not all dogs need this doing but many do. I will always check dogs ears & pluck if needed ☺️

Bella ❤️ came into the salon in quite a pickle again today.
Matted everywhere & looking very sorry for herself.
#7 (3.2mm) could not get through the matts so #10 all over it was (leaving her coat 1.5mm long)
Fresh start for her & hopefully she’s feeling a million dollars now.
Trying to get some ‘after’ photos was a task in itself as she wouldn’t sit still for long enough for a quick 📸 snap 😂🐶

I cannot stress enough that dog grooms need to be paid for before or on collection.

There has been a sign on my gate stating this for the past few months.

I have outstanding payments still & getting a little tired of chasing people.

This is not my hobby it’s my business, please respect this.

🌾 Damn grass seeds 🌾
Just had to rush my cat, Pudding to the vets at 9pm after she came home with 1 eye shut and swollen.
2 mins at the vets and a 1 inch grass seed removed. Please please check for grass seeds after every dog walk in-between toes / nose/ eyes/ ears.
