We’ve received many calls about the gate code to the field. The gate code will ALWAYS be listed on the confirmation email you receive when you make your booking.

You need to scroll down to the end of the confirmation message. If you don’t receive an email, please check your junk mail. The example of the confirmation email shows a white line where the gate code will be listed.

The code isn’t shown on the reminder message you receive, so please don’t delete the confirmation email before your visit. IF the gate code is changed after you’ve placed your booking you will receive a text message.

After visiting the Dog Run did you know you can buy fresh free range eggs from our own free range hens at the Oak Farm farm gate.

Eggs are sold in trays (2.5 dozen per tray) and half dozen boxes.

There’s an honesty box in operation within the stall along with the option to use a Sum Up QR code for card payments via your mobile phone and online payments using our bank details.
Secure payment methods available to suit everyone.

What better way to round off your visit than with fresh free range farm eggs direct from the farmer.

We love to see all your dogs enjoying Oak Farm.

This afternoon I made a visit to the field with water due to no tap water, which has now been fixed.

I was greeted by a beautiful girl rescued from Turkey. Her name’s Mabel and she was so affectionate and loving. I had to take a photograph of her.

She had a fantastic time playing with her family and is returning again soon.

It’s been brought to our attention that there have been some issues that can be easily solved if people show a little more thought for others.

Please be mindful of leaving the field at the correct time. If your dog(s) are difficult to catch allow yourself more time to prepare. If you’re late leaving the field then the next guest has less time in the field and you’re encroaching on their session.

Also, if you are a little early and someone is preparing to leave, please park at the end of the drive to give them space and privacy to leave. This adds to the private experience of the field for dogs and humans.

We have our own Oak Farm community now at the Dog Run. One very kind and thoughtful visitor has left some balls to be used outside the pool area and a floating toy for the water.

Please look after them and replace them for everyone to enjoy.

We’re pleased to hear our field is being enjoyed by so many.

The water’s back open.

A big thank you goes to our local pump engineer, Trevor Fuller for locating and installing 1 of 5 pumps in the country. Trevor went over and above to ensure the water was open as quickly as possible.

Now the temperature’s dropped, but we’re ready for the next hot spell.

💦 WATER UPDATE 💦

Repairs are being carried out this week. We want to be 100% confident with the system before we open the water area, and will keep everyone updated using the page.

The water has added a wonderful feature to the field.

If you are only wanting to use the field for the water, please don’t book for this week. We don’t know how long it’ll take to locate a new pump, but it’s all in hand and we’re working hard to get the problem resolved.

Sadly, as from today we have taken the decison this morning to close the water area in the field due to issues with the water pump.

We’d like to thank everyone who has supported the Oak Farm Dog Run to date.

We’ve been overwhelmed by the lovely messages, and so pleased that our new venture has become such an important addition to your dog’s exercise routine.

We want all our guests, (2 legged and 4 legged) to arrive and leave calmly. This is all part of the Dog Run experience from start to finish!

If you happen to arrive early, please don’t park at the gates to the field. We ask that you continue driving to the end of the drive and park at our waiting area until the current guest has left.

We really don’t want to put a sign like this up at the Oak Farm Dog Run.

We’re sad to say that there are a number of people not picking up their dog’s poo.

Please keep a close eye on your dog when they leave your car.

Also please don’t break the branches on our beloved trees.

We planted, nurtured and have cared for them for many years. It’s heartbreaking to see their branches snapped.

The feedback and lovely comments we’re receiving outweighs the dog poo complaints, but we don’t want it to continue.

It’s a beautiful day at Oak Farm. The trees are looking magnificent and it’s so peaceful. The ideal place for a horse to spend his holidays. Freddie and Pepsi are now baby sitting a new addition. They’ve spent much of their time with their heads in their hooves while he gets up to mischief. It’s been quite eventful couple of days, but we’re loving the change in our routine. We can’t see him wanting to leave.

The weather’s beautiful this morning and we’re looking forward to welcoming people (no dogs) to our open day from 10am - 2pm.

Sally from Mabel & Friends is with us explaining about her new socialisation classes and the wonderful Jen from Wilde & Greene with her mouth watering delicacies.

We’ve made some progress over the last month. The fence posts are in the ground and our new shelter for visitors is arriving tomorrow. In the next couple of weeks it should be taking shape. So much to do to make it a valuable dog exercise venue for both dog and human. Keep following our progress and please share our page with friends and family.
