URGENT permanent foster or rehome for elderly overweight TOBY. Some of you will already know about TOBY who we took into foster care recently. Sadly his owner, who is still in hospital, has made the very difficult decision to part with him as she knows that whatever happens, he will not have his needs met if she doesn't.

If we had a magic wand, we would enable them to be together with someone else there to support both their needs, but her ill-health and mobility, plus the uncertain future mean a decision has been made.
Our foster home in Bury St Edmunds ends at the end of January.
We don't want him moved around and so are looking for a permanent foster or adoption asap.

Do you know of a (relatively local to West Suffolk) woman or couple who have been dog owners in the past, and who is largely at home with an enclosed garden (can be small) and able to take on a very overweight Jack Russell (20kg), with poor mobility? He is a very sweet dog and although we have heard that he has shown overprotective aggressive signs in the past, this has not been seen at all in the foster home. His owner is happy to cover the costs of looking after him.

He does not walk far (can’t due to his weight), just needs feeding and letting out and gentle company.

His vaccinations are not up to date and he is currently on low dose medication for scaly skin. He really needs to be on a different diet, on a weight loss programme and to have the care and support that he needs.

We think it is best that he is not with other dogs/cats as he is not used to them.

Boarding Terms and Conditions

We are in the process of updating our Boarding license and with it comes a new set of Terms and Conditions.

Over the next few weeks we will be emailing existing boarding customers attaching a copy of the Terms. These can also be viewed on our website.

Current boarders who are booked in will be honoured at the current price but new bookings made from 1st September will be subject to the new prices.
