This is a first for us! A Halloween themed venue for our Dog First Aid Course at Mischief Doggy Daycare Centre 😀 Thanks to Mel & the team for hosting a sold out course in Mildenhall Suffolk. We’ve never had a skeleton at a course before, but delighted to be in such a lovely decorated & fun doggy daycare place

This year Beau the dog & I are taking part in The Wildlife Trust Big Wild Walk, 21st October to 3rd November. We’ve pledged to walk 30km together. We are looking forward to fundraising for our wildlife, because without a healthy ecosystem we can’t have a habitable planet. Day 30: share what you love about doing 30Days Wild. We love being outside on dog walks: seeing something new, being fascinated by a different plant, discovering a special insect, hearing a new bird call, there’s always a treasure that nature gives you every time you step outside and we have loved documenting it every day of June 2024 with 30dayswild

Day 29: share what you love about being in nature - we love the smells of the fragrant blossom, at the moment the Small-leaved lime trees smell gorgeous near our home. The digital world is a great way for us to see & hear wildlife but it can’t recreate the smells, you need to actually be there to sense that. Obviously the dog knows that & that’s why we walk not only for the exercise but also for the smells 👃🐽🐕

Day 26: share what you love about nature. We love learning & sharing that knowledge with others. DYK that moths have amazing names often named after their markings. This one is known as Heart and Dart (❤️ & 🎯). Other species names we love include Mother Shipton, Angle Shades, Chimney Sweeper & Autographa Gamma - fabulous

Day 24: Do Tai Chi in nature. Tai chi is a practice that involves a series of slow gentle movements and physical postures, a meditative state of mind, and controlled breathing. Unfortunately the dog is not ready for Tai Chi yet as he is only just 2 years old & full of bounce on our walks, but maybe in his quieter moments we could try a few moves!
