Room still available. On site here at Bardwell Manor Equestrian Centre. Sharing with a member of staff. (Female)
We can let one or more stables out to someone taking the room. I can rent out the room with no stabling. Ideally a ‘horsey person’ . Not suitable for a couple.
Might suit a freelance groom/ instructor or just someone who’d like to live close to their horses.
Room £120 per week ( bills included)
Stable £50 per week per stable
Feel free to share.

Janey. Six days after the accident. She’s doing so well. She’s been out in the paddock with Anne & Polo this morning. I’m so proud of her. What a resilient pony.
21/01/2025
Very sad to say that Janey was found this morning with a severe injury to her eye
Presumably having been kicked
It wasn’t possible to save her eye , and it has been removed at Rossdales veterinary hospital this afternoon.
She has been able to return home this evening.
She’s in amazingly good spirits considering what has happened.
There’ll be some recovery time, but horses manage amazingly well with one eye. Many horses are out competing with one eye.
Still, it’s been a pretty horrible day.

Some of the boys ( there are four in the photo- Kevin is hiding) enjoying the last few days of their holiday.
We reopen for lessons on Tuesday 14th January. It’s been nice to give the horses a good break.
I imagined that I’d get loads of admin/ paperwork done. I have managed some, but there’s plenty left.

A few photos from the Christmas Party yesterday. The Six Bells had put on an awesome buffet. Everyone was impressed with the standard of the food.
It was great to be able to have the whole pub . Claire provided the playlist and lights for some disco dancing from all ages!!
It was so nice that so many staff and customers could attend.
I don’t have a hangover…. Not sure how everyone else is faring??

Staff outing to the Carol Service at Bardwell Church this afternoon.
Constance got her favourite- ‘Ding-Dong Merrily on High’ Gloooooooooooooooria.
It was nice to see the church full. We all had mulled wine ( not Constance) & mince pies afterwards. Then came back and finished the horses.

Stage 2 jump practice. Amazing that the ground is still good.
Here’s a little action from the jumping morning. Apologies that not everyone is in it , and that it was just the warm up fence.
I was just doing a test run to see if I could get a few pieces of video & photos together. I think it looks ok. I’ll see if I can make some more ambitious movies in the future.
Everyone did really well. It’s so good to have time to do some jumping theory work as well as actually jumping.
Today’s walk and trot hack.
