TERMS & CONDITIONS

*Payment must be made at time of booking.
* Owners are responsible for their dogs at all times.
*You are responsible for clearing up after your dog. Children must b

e able to stand with their head above the water and are the responsibility of the parent at all times.
* Dogs must not be pushed, shoved or thrown into the pool. Anyone doing this will be asked to leave.
* All dogs must be fully vaccinated or titre tested.
* We have no control over the release of photos on social media by other customers visiting the dog pool.
*Please do not take your dogs into any water source before your session as they could bring bacteria or algae into the pool.
* Please ensure your dog does not eat up to 2 hours before swimming
* All dogs MUST have their claws clipped short to prevent punctures to the pool liner. Entry may be refused if your dog has sharp claws.
* Cancellations can be made 48 hours or more before your session with full refund. These can be done via your email confirmation. Cancellations made within 48 hours of your session will still be charged at the full rate. Please note you will not be refunded or rescheduled for a late or no show.
*You can reschedule your appointment 48 hours or more before your session via your confirmation email. If you wish to reschedule within 48 hours of your session, you will still be charged at the full rate.
*If, for any reason other than our own, you turn up at the wrong time, to the wrong session, you will still be charged at the full rate.
*Please use the postcode on our page and on your email confirmation for directions. Again, late arrivals and/or no shows will not be refunded
*We still operate in the rain. If you wish to reschedule or cancel because of rain or bad weather and are inside of the 48 hour cancellation policy, you will still be charged.
*Dogs with injuries, health problems or recovering from surgery must have permission to swim from your vet.
*We are NOT hydro therapists...we are a dog swimming club providing fun exercise and socialisation. No medical advice given.
* Your half hour session includes time taken entering and exiting the pool. You and your dog must exit the pool and enclosure swiftly at the end of your session to allow access to the pool for the next class.
*A 1 minute swim equates to 4 minutes of running for an average dog, therefore they will not be encouraged to swim for more than a maximum of 20 minutes.
*Please be aware there is a weight limit of 16 stone for the pool ladder. These are manufacturers guidelines.
*The ramp is for dog use ONLY. Please to not use this to enter/exit the pool.
*Dogs showing signs of aggression towards other dogs or humans in a group session will be asked to leave.
* You MUST inform us if your dog has a history of biting, is reactive, or is unsociable. This does not preclude you from coming, it is to ensure the safety of staff and customers and so you will be advised to book a Solo Session.
*If your dog shows active aggression and/or physically causes injury to staff, customers or other dogs, in any session, you will be asked to leave and not rebook until the behaviour has been rectified.
*By confirming your booking with Canine Dip and Dive you are deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.

Today is Dogs In Yellow day, recognising yellow on coats and leads that the dog is nervous and needs space.
We have always welcomed nervous dogs at Canine Dip and Dive and have helped many many dogs overcome their fear of water, and help them become more confident.

It's day today 20th March so do support this movement helping more nervous and reactive dogs being recognised through yellow.

Jo Buddy and I want to thank everyone for their support in getting us to this point. Every single comment helped persuade the committee to vote unanimously in our favour.

Last month the vote of 13/2 went in our favour but planning wanted to do a risk assessment on the decision. Despite the planning officer still pushing for planning to be refused, councillor's voted 100% for us to stay at the windmill.

Hi all...

After 5 years of no price rises, unfortunaly, as of Monday we will be increasing our prices to:

Solo swim: £37+£11 per additional dog
Group sessions: £17 per dog

If you book before Monday, you'll obviously get the old prices, and we have now added dates for May in the booking system. Puppy and Small Breed Group Sessions are available from May 💦🐾

Lovely Winston...

Sadly, we have just heard that lovely French Bulldog, Winston, passed away last month.

Winston has been visiting us for many years, and we are so thankful to have had a really fun session last season to remember him by, with both his big and little human in the pool with him.

Our thoughts are with them at such a sad time, and we will remember Winston with great fondness 😢🐾💔

Our Dip and Dive Story

Canine Dip and Dive is our 32ft, outdoor dog swimming pool, set in the beautiful Suffolk countryside. We are Andy and Jo Brownlie and we wanted to create something especially for dogs and their owners in a safe environment where the main focus was to have FUN!! From Puppy Classes to Senior Moments, Group Classes to Solo Sessions, there is something for all.

We moved to Suffolk a number of years ago to escape the rat race of London for the slower pace of country life. Andy and Buddy, our spaniel and face of Canine Dip and Dive, had previously entered a TV game show called Superstar dogs. They made the semi finals and had great fun with the host John Barrowman. One event included dogs jumping in a pool to retrieve a ball or toy in the quickest time and from this, Andy ended up working as a trainer for dogs, travelling the country at Country shows and dog events such as All About Dogs Shows and DogFest, teaching dogs to dock dive and swim. In doing this he noticed that dogs were regularly nervous of the water and wanted to set up a pool where he could nurture and help dogs to realise that water is fun, plus allowing owners to swim with their dogs.

We decided to set up a pool in the open air to see what response they would get and it has been a rollercoaster ride since! What was expected to be a weekend bit of fun, turned into the business it is today.

We’re now very excited to be venturing into franchising so that more of your furbabies can enjoy the fun of the pool, so watch this space for a Canine Dip and Dive pool opening near you!!
