We are looking to recruit a skilled operator for a full time position within our agricultural contracting division based in Chedburgh, Bury St Edmunds.

The role is primarily based on our energy crop and straw contracts and the candidate will be responsible for driving high output machinery. This role requires a high attention to detail, an ability to react quickly to challenges that may present themselves and be an effective communicator. The role also requires experience and applicants need to demonstrate their ability and have a proven track record.

Duties to include:

Maize Drilling with Vaderstad Tempo
Operating a Jaguar 970 on Rye and Maize
Baling or Chasing with a MF 2290 / Heath Chaser
General tractor work over winter months
Workshop and maintenance of kit.

We are currently looking for an experienced bulk tipper driver to join our Biosolids Team out of London.

- Based out of our main yard in Chedburgh, Bury St Edmunds.

- Modern fleet of of FH Volvos. Full spec trucks, air suspension, night AC, Microwave, TV, Swivel passenger seat etc.

- 4 nights out a week

- Competitive rates of pay, night out allowance, pension scheme

- Experience of operating loading shovel would be an advantage for self loading on some sites. Full training will be given.

Our Maize elevator is a key part of our maize harvesting team. Using our Walking Floor HGVs, we keep the tractors and trailers in the field reducing vehicle movements on the road. Each walking floor is the equivalent to two tractors and trailers.

We are looking for an experienced operator for a 13ton tracked excavator loading Biosolids into a Vredo Self Propelled spreader. You will also be responsible for a U430 unimog and lowloader, moving yourself between jobs. This work is based around Oxford.

You’ll be working with a great team who take pride in their work and like to get the job done. Therefore, we only want to hear from people who are able to meet the following criteria:

Clean and presentable
Are able to do a FULL days work
Can get out of bed by themselves
Take pride in what you do
Can really operate a digger
Use a grease gun
Have a driving license
Can think for themselves
Aren’t addicted to social media
Don’t come with endless baggage.
