Yesterday evening saw the arrival of Declan. He has come from Yorkshire for a month of training. He is a 4yo ex racer.
I just love the thoroughbred, I saddled him up hopped on and headed out on a hack on his own, well we had Potts the dalmatian for company. He was delightful ears pricked up and keen to head off down the track!

As you may have read or known I took to the road and headed to Osberton 2* recently with Jack .
This is a huge achievement as you may not know what Jack was like when we first met.
I always believed in him and my ability to understand his issues.
This was him BEFORE I met him and why I met him (I am not riding him in the video below) and the recent 2* which was not perfect or clear but a huge step up and forward.
We are so lucky to have the full support of his owner .
I always looking to help more horses and owners achieve their goals.

Our Story

I am an Advanced Event rider , eventing from BE90 up to and including advanced level and international events. I am fortunate enough to ride for some fantastic owners. Our aim is to qualify and compete at Burghley and HOYS - no point in not aiming high!

Based at my yard in West Sussex I am able to take Liveries, Competition Horses and Race Horses in for Training, backing, retraining and hoping to add more horses to my string that I can produce and compete from my base or yours!

I have been surrounded by horses for the majority of my life. It is fair to say that limited funds meant testing horses and ponies, but this taught me the value of patience and horsemanship. I love to understand why horses do what they do, the testing horses I have had in the past taught me to think like a horse not like a person when training.

I adore producing horses no matter their age or experience, learning about them and understanding how to bring out the best through harmony, trust and partnership.
