This article makes some great points and the take home message says it all “Rehabilitate the entire horse, not just the injured region.” So much focus can be put on the injury but the rest of the body must not be dismissed throughout the rehabilitation process!

Address the entire horse, not just the injury, when bringing a patient back to work, veterinarians say.
