I have a little back log of thank youzzzz
A couple of weeks ago I put a shout out to the Born to Run family for donations of rehab equipment so that in these tight financial times I can offer on loan to my patients.

These pieces of equipment which are hugely expensive - sometimes cost prohibitive, and can mean the difference between a dog being euthanased or given another chance at life albeit at a different pace.

The very first donation came from a lady whos facebook handle is Helen Scotty King.

Unbeknowns to me she is an phenomenal award winning cartoonist !

Big ask: Is anyone willing to donate rehab items so I can trial or help provide products on loan to my patients, shoulder, knee or hock braces, help to get up harnesses, surgery recovery suits, bootees, etc
Literally anything which has helped you help your dog after an injury or surgery that you don't need anymore.

This equipment is pretty expensive to buy sometimes and when owners struggle with rising vet costs and medication especially when insurance just doesn't come close to paying even half in many cases.

Without some specialist equipment It can mean that a dogs recovery takes much longer or some even have to contemplate having their dog pts because they cannot physically help their dog up to toilet with dignity - how many of us suffer with back backs.... 😢

I see it every day and it's incredibly distressing - donating could truly make all the difference in the world to an owner who needs our help.

I normally dont get involved because of people change their mind - which impacts on my character

But a Merle girl collie - 6 years - is looking for a new home genuinely through no fault of her own.
Her owners had twin premature babies who are really unwell and are back and forth to a London hospital from Ipswich every week for the last two years. The chap has taken mega early retirement to be able to look after his babies and meet the appointments but the dog is really struggling as she doesn’t have the attention she needs and she doesn’t know how to be around the babies and equipment - now at 2 yrs but still needing round the clock care as they have severe breathing problems.

This doggie will need to work - agility / flyball would be perfect once she’s match fit
Transparency: Her breeder has also been contacted so may be rehoned through them
