Important Update: 48-Hour Cancellation Policy

Hi everyone,

I want to be open and honest about something important that affects how I run my business.

Going forward, I will be charging full price for any cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, regardless of the reason for the cancellation.

Over the past few months, I’ve lost hundreds of pounds in income due to short-notice cancellations—appointments that I can’t refill in time, even though I’ve set that time aside just for you. These last-minute changes have a real impact, and as a small business owner, it’s not something I can continue to absorb.

I completely understand that life happens—illnesses, emergencies, and unexpected changes are part of being human. But just like anyone else, I still have fixed costs to cover. For example, if my daughter is unwell and can’t go to childcare, I still have to pay my childminder. It’s the same when someone cancels late—whether or not a dog is brought to the appointment, the time, energy, and overheads have already been committed.

This policy is not about being unfair—it’s about ensuring my business can continue to operate and serve you all for the long term. I truly appreciate your understanding and ongoing support.

Also, moving forward, all appointments must be booked online. This helps keep everything organised, ensures clear communication, and allows you to see availability easily.
