Next up was another senior pooch at 15 years young - Lottie 🐶🛁

Lottie has complex ongoing medical issues, so her grooms are much about keeping her maintained and removing any knots that build up between grooms - and of course making sure she can see once again 👀🤩

Ensuring this sweet girl is kept comfortable is my main priority 🐾

First up today was new boy to the groom room - Marley 🐶🛁

To say Marley is a senior dog and has pre-existing medical conditions (which you'd expect would slow him down); I can confirm; it doesn't and he had me running around the table after him today 😆

He was super good for his groom, except if I went anywhere near those paws! 👀 He just wasn't a fan, so I did what I could and despite not being the neatest finish - he's gone home looking a good 5 years younger 🥰

This week has been started with lovely lady Lucy 🛁🐶

She’s such a delight to have in the groom room 🥰 she’s always so well behaved and accomodating during her time with me.

She’s gone away today with the softest coat & smelling as beautiful as she is, inside and out 🫶🏻

I look forward to seeing you in December - an opportunity to spoil you, just that little bit more 🎁🎄🤫

Final dog of the week was Oakley 🐶

He once again sung me the song of huskey the whole time he was with me 🤣🎶

Thankfully I had the professional cleaners in straight after him today 😂 as his fur was blowing out all over the room ... "It's stuck to the ceilings!!!" she said as she walked in 🤦🏻‍♀️ (Sorry Gemma)! 🙈🫣😅

Last up was Jacob 🐾 ... Who has a natural superpower....

Growing hair and nails fast than any other dog known to man 😂🤭🤣

To say I only say him 4 weeks ago ..... I was very impressed with how quick his hair and nails have grown!! 😮 For this reason, we went a length shorter all over and we'll see how he goes 🤞🏼

We'll keep working on getting him comfortable with the grooming process & with letting me touch his face 🐶

Lovely having you in again Jacob 🥰... I know now for next time you're a lot more full of energy than that first time we met !! 😉 ... Shorter hair seems to have given you a whole new burst of life 🫶🏻😅🙌

Next up was .... Of course, was Philippe! 🐶🛁

Comes in nervous and leaves as cool as a cucumber. He was much more obliging this week than his cheeky brother 🤭😅

Opposite to Louis, he doesn't like me touching his face, but was a dream for everything else 🫶🏻

First in today was Louis 🛁

Well Louis, what can I say? You were full of teen-ager rebellion today after being rudely awoken by your pawents to come to the groom room 🙈😂 He wasn't a fan of much today other than falling asleep in my hand whilst doing his face at the end ✂️😍

All and all though - Louis is a sweet boy who was giving me lots of affection in between the spinning around! 🥰

See you in 4 weeks 🫶🏻 .... with less attitude please 😂🐾

Next in today was Poppy. She's such a nervous little lady; but today did relax a little towards the end 🥰

Now she comes in on a regular schedule, we're able to go a little longer for her trim ✂️

I never get good pictures of Poppy; as she just wants to be cuddled... And just really doesn't like her pictures being taken 😂

This morning saw Oliver in the groom room 🛁

I managed to get one semi decent picture of him looking super handsome after his groom in the garden. Others including licking his lips and him mid zoomies 🤣 - I will try harder next time 😂 !!! 📸

I keep the table low to the ground with Oliver, as it appears he has a fear of heights! And the mop! 🙈 ...He's such a sensitive soul 🫶🏻🥰

Yet again - gold stars all round for behaviour and I can't wait to see him just before Christmas 🤩

"Wait, is that all my hair or another dog?" ... Even Rio was impressed with how much hair came out of him 🤣

Rio has had very complex operations on his legs in the past, and although he is recovered now - this still requires extreme care with his handling. For this reason, he just comes for a set time of 2 hours for his hand strip sessions and we do what we can ☺️🐾

Although I feel the groom is nowhere near 'perfect' & he's got more hair to give- he's gone home feeling comfortable and a wee bit tidier 🫶🏻

Considering he's been through so much in his short life, he's extremely gentle & such a lovely boy 🥰 I'm very pleased I get the pleasure of having him in the groom room.

First up in the groom room after my week off (other than the boss's impromptu groom yesterday) was lovely boy Monty 🐶

Monty just popped by today as an introductory wash and dry, as his current groomer is soon to go on maternity leave 🤰🏻... So it was good to get to know eachother for when he comes back in January for his full groom ✂️

Monty had just been for a hour long walk down the lines; so a good wash was in order! 🛁

He was as good as gold with both the bath and dryer and told me lots of stories in between kisses.

Ok, I didn't plan on doing the boss today, but after a VERY wet & dirty walk up Holcombe Hill this morning... There was no time like the present! ⛰️🤣🛁

I mean; it's taken me all day, with looking after my 4 year old snack monster (son) in-between 🙈 .... But Freddie is finally done before a very busy few weeks, work & personal ...and then of course the Christmas rush 🙌🎁🐾

He's had a restyle today, and I've taken him short with his head and ears, because quite frankly - they take a lot of looking after; especially when the weather is getting so wet 💦🌨️.... They were taking so long to dry and then brush! 😶‍🌫️

Anyhoo, he's feeling fresh (for now) 🤪 and will definitely dry much quicker after all his walks 😀🐾!

* Please excuse my terrible attempt at a reel. Apparently it helps the algorithm... what ever that means 🤷🏻‍♀️😅

My final client of the day was another newbie to my groom room - Louis 🐶

Louis was a total gem, right from the start 🛁🤩 .... his tail kept wagging all the way through his groom and he loved me chatting away to him, telling him how much of a good boy he is 🫶

Thanks for picking me Louis 😍 Your an absolute delight to have around 🐾

Next up was Toby - the crazy cocker spaniel 😁🐶😍

Honestly, if I could bottle up some of the energy that comes into this groom room & sell it .... I'd be a very rich woman 😆🫶

Despite being super energetic and a big bundle of fun - Toby was a super good boy whilst in the bath and on the table and let me tidy him up nicely 🥰🛁🤩

First in today was Greta, who I have such a soft spot for 🥰🐾🐶

She's such a sweet lady who today, walked herself into the groom room, then straight in the bath, followed by hopping onto the table 🤩 she's so clever and knows the routine perfectly 🙌

Greta had a bit of playtime in the garden afterwards and I'm pretty sure she thinks she's a little puppy, the way she bounds up and jumps for fuss 😂🥰

Today welcomed new girl into the groom room, another German Shepherd 🙌🫶 - Eva 🐶🛁😍

She was as good as gold throughout the whole groom and the amount of hair that came out during the drying process is very hard to quantify ... As it flew everywhere and is now stuck to every wall and even the ceiling 🙌🤣 it was soooo satisfying 👌

I didn't expect to see him again so soon, so this afternoon was a real treat 🤩🙌

Next in the tub was Coach 🐶 who was back for his 2nd puppy groom 🛁

He was an absolute superstar and let me do everything needed... Including getting in the bath all by himself & letting me use the high powered dryer! 🫶🙌

Well done Coach, you did amazing! ⭐️🤩🐾
..Thought I'd add some interesting information about puppies on this post and the importance of picking a groomer who is fully knowledgeable and qualified.

Look at the last picture: the difference between a grown up dog and a puppy. Look how the bones are still growing! This sort of knowledge helps us in making sure handling of a pup is done correctly. It's so important, no matter the size of the pup (coach being a BIG BOY 🐶)! not to forget he's still very much growing on the inside.... And extra care and attention is required 🥰

His fluffy tail just constantly wags and he gives the most amount of kisses 🫶

He's an older gent; so I bring him off the table mid groom so he can have a little wander and to get those legs moving around 🫶

First in this week was pretty girl Polly for her bath & tidy up 🛁✂️

She's a sweet girl who has a default position of laying down during her groom - which of course I do my best to work around 😂😍

Polly enjoyed a few minutes in the sunshine before being collected; and as you can see - she's left feeling super clean and looking beautifully shiney 🫶🐾

This morning's pooch and newbie was Flossie - the miniature schnauzer 🐶🐾

Flossie stood perfectly still throughout her groom for me today, despite being a nervous girl 🫶

She's gone home feeling super silky & feeling much neater after a good brushing out and tidy up! 😊
