I CANNOT thank you enough for supporting K9-Retreat … and me…..in raising money for Doreen. My bully dog Bruce is an EF rescue and I have a huge love of their work. It was amazing to be able to raise £305!! I’ve never loved sending money so much ever.

Boarding Kennels & Daycare

We have an exciting opportunity for someone who is experianced and passionate about working with dogs.

If you are bonkers about dogs come rain or shine, this is an incredibly rewarding role. You will get to work with puppies, rescue dogs, dogs of all sizes and breeds. We also provide boarding for dogs with extra care needs so you must be resiliant ,trustworthy and have a heart of gold.

Criteria:
You must demonstate knowledge in working with dogs
You will be expected to adhere to high welfare and health and safety procedures at all times.
You must have a good understanding of canine behaviour, be active and provide fun enrichment activities for our doggy guests
Giving the best hugs is a must BUT you must also be able to embrace the serious side to the job.
You will meet and greet our amazing customers
Carry out day to day routiue planning with your collegues
Carry out and identifty animal heath checks and report concerns
Plan activitys ... come rain or shine
You must be have good communication skills ... this keeps staff and dogs save

Our staff are Level 3 Animal Welfare qualified and dog first aid trained. Whilst Level 3 is preferred its not essential.You will be give on site training regardless of experiance and we will support you in completing your dog first aid course.

This position is for 20-35 hours per week. We operate 7 days a week 7am -7pm and shifts are allocated a month in advance. We will consider a candidate that can only work fixed days. Start date Jan 2025
