Meet my boys, cocker spaniels Oliver & Stanley. Both are 12 (but not brothers), in great shape (a healthy weight) and as you can see Oliver runs rings around me! Raw fed (Oliver), low fat (Stanley - he has pancreatitis), Riaflex joint supplements and golden paste. No processed rubbish and I think it shows 🥰 If you want any guidance on diet please ask at your next appointment. Have a lovely weekend, and share your doggies' photos in the comments - we love to see them ❤️ Jen
My boys have been wrapping up warm against the chilly weather. They are both nearly 12 so it's really important not to let them get too cold. Both have signs of arthritic change and both have golden paste (turmeric) and a joint supplement as part of their healthy diet. Oliver (red coat) is raw fed and Stanley (grey coat) is fed Chappie as he has pancreatitis. They are at the ideal weight for a cocker spaniel, have raised beds in the kitchen to take them off the floor and reduce the pressure on their joints and the other beds in the house (all 5 of them! 😁) are memory foam #YourDogMoreYears
Good morning! Maintaining social distance is easy when you start filming. Cue Charlotte and client Paula hiding 😂😂 We are open for business, and excited to see your beautiful doggies and keep them healthy and happy with their sessions ❤ #perfectpoppy #happystaffy #waggingtails
This beautiful girl is Amy the miniature Dachshund. Amy had a disc extrusion and required spinal surgery, a procedure called a hemilaminectomy. Amy was given a 10% chance that she would walk again. Amy's owner has been hugely deidicated to her recovery and Amy is now up on all 4 paws and walking like a little superstar! And as you can see from the video, Amy is very excited for Christmas!
This is Millie the Shih Tzu. Millie came to us in September after being diagnosed with narrowing of the discs in the spine. She had very poor use of her hind limbs, and there was also the suspicion that she may have had an FCE (fibrocartilaginous embolism) also known as a spinal stroke. Millie has had several health challenges recently including an eye problem which sadly resulted in the loss of one of her eyes. However she is a delightful girl with a gentle personality despite all of this. To begin with Millie needed assistance on the treadmill, using a footplate and manual movement of her hind limbs as she was unable to do this herself, but as you can see from the video, two months on she is walking brilliantly!
Another video update! I'm hoping you're not getting fed up of seeing my face 🤣🤣 It'll give you a chance to put those Christmas chocolates down! I'm currently sat on Nai Yang beach with a cold bottle of Chang, waiting for my dinner of khao phad gai kha dhow (chicken fried rice with a fried egg on top) 😍 Jen
Excuse my sweaty face, it's rather hot!! 🤣🤣 Luckily the doggies don't care what we look like. Merry Christmas everyone! Jen 😍
