Job Description

We are recruiting a shop assistant for our busy independent agricultural store based in Buxton.

The successful candidate should have a friendly positive attitude and should be able to manage their own time effectively.

The job role will include the following responsibilities:

🔸 Taking orders from customers, giving help and advice where necessary 🤓

🔸 Helping to promote and sell products at the store 📈

🔸 Picking orders ready for delivery 📦

🔸 Keeping the store tidy and well stocked 🧹

🔸 Training will be offered to gain your SQP Qualification 📚

🔸 Some knowledge of the Agricultural and Equestrian industry is essential 🌾🚜🐴

Canditiates need to be aware that the role will include an element of manual lifting 🏋️‍♀️🏋️‍♂️

Store opening/closing times are 8:30am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday and 8:30am - 12:30pm on Saturdays. The successful candidate will be expected to work alternate Saturdays. 🕣🕔
