It's a really sad day for us here at PetStop Caerphilly. We're saying farewell to these 2 beauties as they move on to pastures new today about 4 and a bit hours away. To say we're gutted is an understatement and we'll miss them both so so much. Bryn... for the past 4 years you've been an absolute joy when you came to stay and walks were never the same with you around. You are the noisiest, barkiest but most loving little man alive, who'd bark if a blade of grass moved but I've always said that you just like the sound of your own voice! And then along came little Cariad (black & tan) a couple of years later, from the most awful start in life on a puppy farm and made to churn out litter after litter of pups, terrified of everything, but with the love and patience from mum and dad, learnt to trust that not every person is awful and cruel. You've been the model guest every time you came to stay. You'll both be so sadly missed. We wish you all the very best in your new home and we're sending you a lifetime of love and hugs 😢😢🫂🫂❤️❤️xx

🏮LONG POST ALERT🏮
It's been eerily quiet here on my page for the past 7 months or so with good reason as Pepper, aka the queen 👑 of my pack (who came out with me on almost every walk I did) went off her back legs on December 18th 2023 and despite having spinal surgery not even 24hrs later she has never been able to regain full use of her little legs. I just couldn't bring myself to add photos and videos of the other dogs without her being there. It just felt so inappropriate for me to do so somehow. However, due to the unfounded generosity of the wonderful small charity that is Dedicated to Dachshunds with IVDD (InterVertebral Disc Disease) they loaned her a stroller so she was at least able to join us again, if only to get some fresh air. Fast forward 6 months and the charity were able to loan her wheels which she refused to budge in. She would just stand there refusing to move. We tried everything to get her going, but to no avail.... until yesterday, when this happened 😁......
