Just want to sincerely apologise to anyone who has tried to contact me recently, I apologise for the inconvenience caused. I am desperately trying to get myself straightened out, so thanks for everybody's patience! Unfortunately the past couple of weeks have been challenging to say the least! Early morning and not a bad office view to start the week right!
Sometimes life can be pretty hectic and it is not until you take a step back and look at the positives and small achievements and BREATHE! Always have high expectations; but at the same time, make sure you acknowledge the little steps on your journey! So proud of clients; both human and animal, who have focused their energy into trusting my training and gained confidence to achieve more than they themselves believed they were capable of. For instance, whether it is a warmblood who found a moment of relaxation when facing environmental triggers or a person who made the most of an experience despite initial fears of the unknown. Small steps make it possible for good things to happen and these small moments we need to recognise and take pride in on our journey to achieving the larger picture!

The past month has been busy, I am pleased to say that I have gained several new clients this month! Being able to provide such varied services with a variety of animals is what makes all the hard work really rewarding. The warm weather has meant adjustments to routines, more welfare checks and making the most of the light in the evenings! Happy animals and happy customers all round! I am going to spam this page and get it upto date as much as possible...so keep an eye out! 🧐 Thankyou so much for the continued support! Especially all the recommendations recently! It really means a lot! 😁

Mario did very well with grooming desensitization and work on picking his feet out. Followed by a lovely village walk and some scary drain work!
Mario enjoyed a pamper session this morning by Eleanor https://www.facebook.com/Eleanors-Animal-Solutions-101017931876266 we then took Chancer and Mario out for a little walk around the village. Lots of traffic and things to look at today and Mario was a good boy throughout 🙂
Aims first cross country schooling session
Dakota is here to start her education towards ridden work. Dakota had a refresh on long reining which she carried out like a pro! So much so we had our first visit on the main road! Me thinking it would be nice to encounter a quarry lorry or 2... well we got more than our desensitization trainings worth! 7 large quarry lorries. For the first 4 I stood at shoulder level, standing still to take in the experience and instated positive reinforcement with each individual lorry encounter. By Lorry no.7 Dakota was happily walking pass with great improvement in such a short mad introduction to large vehicles! Such a smart young mare! She will be for sale in the new future and she is definitely one to watch! Very trainable attitude, consistent in her learning and such a beautifully marked individual! Someone is going to be very lucky!
So 3 years ago today it just happens that I was in Warendorf at the Olympic training ground helping train young eventers through the 3 disciplines. Working doing Cross country on the military base. Developing dressage in arenas ridden in by some of the greats and enjoying what I did best with the horses!
Here I am exercising a beautiful thoroughbred gelding. Our hacks purpose is to provide company as a role model for a (green) recently rode away horse. In times of uncertainty we took the lead to provide a positive example. However little leading was needed with the confident mare! Happy Days!
Cuteness alert! Meet Stew and Terry 🐄 Young cattle are continually cared for with bottle feeding, creeper nuts and general handling training from a young age to ensure that welfare checks can be carried out thoroughly as well as ensuring any medical needs can be met! Saftey and correct introductions to new situations are paramount for happy cows and happy owners!
There are always ways of keeping older/companion horses mentally stimulated. The art of Riding and leading allows exercise to be enjoyed in a form less isolating for our horses than riding alone. It focuses on implementing correct training to ensure both horses and rider are safe. As always being seen is paramount and you can never have enough Hi-Visability clothing for both you and your horses!
Harry and I enjoyed a long walk around Brentor, there's always beautiful views when walking in the local countryside!
