Evening All,

We have had a report of a hole in the fence, this is now FIXED!

As you know, our fence is 1.8 metre high stock fence which is fully inclosed with a metre of chicken wire from the bottom to make sure it is fully secure for our smaller friends!
We regularly check the fence to make sure it is always safe but if anyone notices anything that isn’t right, please notify us straight away and we will resolve the issue ASAP.

We also maintain the paddock weekly to keep it in the best condition for you all!

We appreciate all feedback, our reply’s might be slow but we will always reply within 24 hours.

🤩 Little update 🤩

We have completed part one of the rebuild!

🐕 have been moved to the other side of the car park!
💐This means we can now introduce you to who will be joining us from the start of June🤩!

Over the new few months we will be adding an extension on to the existing shed where both LA dog groomer and Elsie Mayflower will move into! We are exited to start this next step meaning we can carry on supporting local business at our vending farm shop and giving more to offer you all.

So please bare with us while we are building this exiting extension for the shop 🤩

☀️The view we’ve all been dreaming of!! ☀️

After what seems like the longest winter ever… the paddock has finally dried out enough to mow 🤩 (still a few places that are a little soft but no muddy puddles in sight!)

We’ve got some new additions coming in to the paddock over the summer 🤞🏻 you all enjoy them 🐕

A little bit of a chill week! We have some new treats bags from Millies Mutts in the twirly machine perfect for your 4 legged friends to enjoy after a paddock session 🐕

Water pipe talk - As you may of noticed the water hose is looking a little sad. We have put 2 new ends on and 3 new hose attachments on in the last 4 weeks.
Some people are taking them off resulting in broken ends, PLEASE don’t take the nossle end off. If you twist the end you can change the presser of the water for your 4 legged friends.

We do daily checks and every day we’ve been met with a broken hose. Please look after/ leave our paddock as how you wish to use/ find it.

☔️Sadly the weather looks like it’s not going to give in for a while, so if you and your fury friends are happy to brave the mud! We have decide to do another discount for you all to enjoy, remember wellies are the only suitable footwear for the paddock at the moment!☔️

We have a muddy treat for your 4 legged friends!

☔️ If your 4 legged friend LOVES mud and water then our paddock is for you 😅 sadly we can not do much about the weather or the paddock as we are on such hard non draining clay.

🚧The road is shut just past our Milk at Mile Elm vending shop! 🚧

This means you can still come for run around in the dog paddock and get milk, eggs, cheese, potatoes, ice cream and cakes!

As normal from Calne direction only 🤞🏻
It is only for this week, then the road works will be gone! 😇

The gorgeous Mav came for another 121 this morning braving the cold. 🥶 He’s a Korthols Griffin/Springer mix and has loads of drive and enthusiasm. His owners run a fabulous paddock just outside Calne, MILE ELM DOG PADDOCK. Check them out on instagram.

We had a cracking session working on coming away from distractions and conditioning a recall whistle.

Some fab news for a gloomy Thursday!

So today we have received some very exciting news L A Dog Groomers is having a brand new Salon purposely built on site at our current location. This is in replacement of our lovely Cabin that we have a little out grown now. It’s set to be happening in the Spring 2024.
We have now settled in so well at Mile Elm Farm, we are here for good. This will mean lots more space and a really snazzy Salon for us all to enjoy 🎉💕🐾🥳… we are so excited and really thankful for each and everyone of you that have supported us, and we couldn’t ask for better Landlords having us at the Farm .. Please drive slowly on the way to us!

Morning,

Just a little note to say we are going to be harvesting the last of our crops for the cows winter feed today from 12:30noon. This means lots of big tractors going slowly.

🚦Please go slowly and steady through Mile Elm and on to the straight by the farm
🚦 We will have a road sweeper machine, tractor and tanker with clean water and a road sweeper brush going up and down the road to clean the mud up.
🚦 Police have been notified, as well as the Parish Steward.
🚦 PLEASE be patient with the tractor drivers, we have done everything we can to make it safe for all, but ultimately drive according to road surface.

🐄The shop is still open you can get to us from both directions🐄

Glorious autumn day ☀️

As you can see we’ve added a few new signs.
Sadly over the weekend we’ve had a few incidences with dogs around the seated area.
🐶Going forward dogs are NO LONGER allowed in the seated area.This includes by the chickens.
🐶Please arrive on time for your session and add ample time if you wish to go into the vending shop for pre dog paddock treats. Please leave dogs in your cars until your slot is available .
🐶Can we also remind you to drive into the paddock-don’t walk this is for both you and your dogs safety. 2 cars can fit comfortably in the designated parking area inside the paddock.
🐶 Please also read all the signs on the way up to the paddock ;they are there to make your time at the paddock enjoyable.

Fingers crossed for some more milder weather without rain 🤞🏻☔️
