Well…….. what a lovely day to end on! ( Feeling like Roger Federer🤣) The last horses and lovely owners left this morning. Have made some great friends over the years most of whom I’m still in contact with and hopefully so with my last group. I will miss all of your smiling faces and hope to catch up with you all soon! I will obviously miss all of the horses but not the poo!🤣🤣

A very strange day today as I waved goodbye to Indie and Teasel. I have decided to have some time off after 18 years of working more or less 7 days per week give or take the occasional time I can get cover. I am looking forward to having weekends free along with those things called bank holidays ( in 18 years I have only had one Christmas where I didn’t work). I will miss Cathy very much as she has been a great Client over the last 10 years and an even better friend! 🥰I am looking forward to meeting her regularly when I don’t smell of horse poo and I have clean nails! I’m sure all of the horses will settle well into their new homes over the coming weeks and of course I will be here to help if needed.

Thank goodness I have various shady places for the horses to take cover. As glorious as this hot sunny summer has been it’s slightly less glorious when you have to work in it! ☀️😎🥵

Horses enjoying a little hay top up! All seeming very amicable. Let’s hope it stays this way. I will continue doing my daily rain dance and 🤞the heavens will open. (May regret saying that).

Advertising for a friend and I Don’t personally know this horse.
You don’t know anyone who would like a 14.2 Welsh do you. He’s an easy ride. Hacking or fun rides. He’s 19,but very well. Owner sadly has to look at rehoming Wilbur as her arthritis is quite bad now xx
