Merry Christmas to all past and present clients and doggies .
I haven't posted for a few month's.
Just to let you know I have been diagnosed with 3 long term chronic illness's amongst living with my other one . This will progress over time . I have had ro fight for a MRi for years, but after a very very bad few month's i was offered one. The only way to manage the excrusiating Pain is with a new very strong medication. I am already on so many medications but i have faught this with all my strength i have had to carry on and carry on .
It got to the point where my body didn't actually work and I mean it didn't work the pain without this medication is out of this world i cannot describe the emense pain .
These conditions are not visable at the moment and one could leave me in a wheelchair in the future if i do not try and keep active and tdke psin relief
you may think I look absolutely fine , but trust me if ypu knew whst i go through to keep active ypu wpuld ne very surprised.
Without my huge amount of medications each day and now this new one i would not be able to walk .
This little buisness of mine is small its just little old me earning a living walking your Beautiful dogs , but it came ro the point where I thought I had lost what I had built , but I have had to make some decisions on how to manage my pain and how to manage my walking.
I decided a little while ago i can only walk my existing clients dogs or any newbies welcomed on a as and when basis if they're small medium dogs in a the area i cover.
This has all been taken out of my hands I cannot control what my body has dealt me .
The medication at the moment has been a absolute godsend and it allows me to carry on walking and enjoy my doggies .
In the new year i may be thinking about offering pet sitting in my existing clients or friend's homes on a odd weekend if anyone qould be interested.
Sorry for the long post . I will now post some pics of your gorgeous doggies feom the last few month's. πΎπΎπ₯°π

Today is PDWA National Dog Walker Appreciation Day so here's a Shout Out for all the wonderful professional dog walkers out there! πππππΎ
βYou are just a dog walker!β β we get told this all the time!!!
In actual fact, we are so much more!
We are trusted guardians who bond, exercise and enrich a dogβs life in all weather!
We enable owners to work or socialise with the knowledge their dog is exercised safely if they themselves have no time, energy or are too poorly to do so themselves.
Not just walks ! We provide enrichment and quality time.
We give owners peace of mind their dogβs welfare is paramount and adapt our days to ensure this during inclement weather for example.
We risk assess constantly but if an accident does happen we are first aid trained to look after dogs in our care.
We keep up to date with PSPOβs, Dog Law etc.
We build relationships with our dogs and know their βnormalβ so we can recognise changes such as tummy troubles, new lumps, different gait or mood etc., and report them swiftly.
We learn as much as we can about canine communication, seasonal hazards, breed traits and find suitable outlets for each one where we can.
Many of us go on to become groomers, pet nutritionists, trainers, behaviourists, pet photographers etc.
We love the dogs in our care. We laugh at their antics, we worry when they are poorly and we cry when we lose them.
We are so much more than βjust a walkerβ and never doubt that.
Soβ¦β¦..
Dog Walkers: tell us who you are and where you are based! (members and non-members welcome)
Owners: if you have dog walker help, flag them here and tell us what you appreciate the most about them!
