After yesterday's little incident, leg versus Volvo.
I have a little update.

After attending hospital last night (20:00 - 02:30) to rule out a Fibular head fracture, I have some good & bad news.

The good news is that my leg is not fractured (soft tissue damage to my right calf muscle).

The bad news is that I have to refrain from dog walking for the next two days.

Therefore, I will have had to cancel today's & Thursdays walks.

I'm very sorry for all those affected!

A friend of a friends daughter (Jocelyn) has just finished a grooming course at Merrist Woods and is after more experience.

Jocelyn is now a qualified dog groomer. She works part time at Bubbly Paws in Deepcut with a view to going full time as a groomer in Jan there. She did a lot of grooming on her course, but needs more cutting practise to get quicker. She does mainly washing and drying of the dogs at the salon. The owner is getting her “model dogs” to practise on at the moment so she can get quicker and more experienced.

So she is doing “model dogs” at home as well to do as many as possible when not at the salon. She charges £20 per dog just to cover costs. She shreds, grooms, washes, cuts, drys and nails, or any required combination".

Please check your dog for these pests.
If you find one, the best way to remove is with a "Tick Fork" (same applies if you find you've been bitten by one).
