YOU need to do what YOU love doing with your dog. Not what someone else tells you that you should be doing.
Remember that you started building relationship with your dog to be happy and to enjoy life together. Don’t do a thousand things YOU don’t care about.
I want my dogs to be curious, to have choices and be happy. I don’t need them to sit on command and control them or perform lots of tricks…
What about YOU and YOUR dog?
Another fantastic webinar with Turid Rugaas tonight: How to help fearful dogs… Thank you ❤️
One of our evening walks. We did not go very far from our house 🙂. We spent 50 minutes walking and sniffing and exploring empty parking lot near the village college, very close where we live with lots of interesting smells 😊. Dogs should have the choice to use their senses and freedom to explore the environment. It helps to lower stress levels and promotes better mental balance in dogs.
Do you know if your dog enjoyed the walk?

Dogs benefit from having free and safe choices. It reduces stress, increases confidence and happiness and has many other benefits for your dog.
We were lucky yesterday and found an interesting storage building for a local football club. Confident and curious, 9 year old Lord was happily sniffing and exploring new environment. His 3 years old niece Lara had the choice…and she chose not to go inside. Maybe next time…
