DOG EAR CLEANING

In addition to baths, brushes, grooms and nail trimming, Waggy’s are now pleased to announce that we had added ear cleaning to the list of salon servcies that we offer.

This service is available to external customers too, not just those boarding or attending daycare with us.

And remember, daycare customers get a ⅓ off should you book whilst your dog is in daycare with us.

🐾 WHY SOCIALISE YOUR PUPPY? 🐾

Bringing your puppy to Waggy’s daycare isn’t just about them having a fun day in our specially-designed puppy and small dog area - it’s a fantastic opportunity for early socialisation 🐶✨

Managed correctly, with plenty of strategic time outs to ensure to prevent over-stimulation, it can provide multiple benefits:

1. Builds Confidence: Interacting with other dogs and people helps your puppy become more comfortable in different environments, and learn how to handle new situations.

2. Improves ‘At-home’ Behaviour: Socialising will help burn off excess energy, preventing boredom-related destructive behaviors, and can also curb fearful or over-eager interactions with other dogs outside of daycare.

3. Reduced separation anxiety: The time away from their owners, as well enforced rest time whilst at daycare, can help your puppy feel less anxious when left alone at home.

4. Promotes Healthy Relationships:Early socialization helps your pup learn positive social cues, which can make interactions with other dogs and humans smoother as they mature.

5. Provides Mental Stimulation: Just like physical exercise strengthens their muscles, mental challenges help develop their brain. It encourages problem-solving skills, memory, and focus—key building blocks for future training and good behaviour.

Much like humans, it’s the early years that form our character. Don’t wait until adulthood, it may be too late!

While some other kennels charge for this, at Waggy's DC Pupdates we don’t…and we never will charge extra for love and socialising.

For us, it’s madness.

These elements should be for every dog in anyone’s care, and not be dependent on money.

And especially in these times, where lots of people are feeling the pinch of the cost of living, they are the least we can do to ensure your dogs’ time away from home is an enjoyable one.

DOG HAND STRIPPING IN ABINGTON

Don’t forget that Waggy’s DC can also provide hand stripping grooming for all your wire-coated dogs’ needs!

We also guarantee a waiting time of no more than one week from enquiry to groom.

In addition to hand stripping, we also offer conventional scissor grooms, and other services such as bathing, brush-outs, and nail clipping.

And, why not double-up on treating your dog? We are also a daycare centre, meaning your dog could be booked in for a play session for most of the day, with a groom as the cherry on top.

OUR 2 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!

So, this time 731 days ago, we opened our doors for the first time! The ride has been unbelievable, and we have continued to go from strength to strength.

I would like to thank our wonderful staff for all the hard work and love they continue to give, our customers for their continued loyalty and faith, and for all the doggies that pass through our door with them.

We’re always keen to support other local businesses, and we’re very excited to announce the opening of a new cafe, ‘Ruby’s Room’ in Abington this weekend! 🌟☕️

As long as your dog is a well-behaved one, please bring them along with you and treat them to a FREE ‘puppucino’. 🐶 ☕️
