Calmness is key.
Katie relaying calmness to her lovely Obie. Great session guys and very well done.
We have been working with Katie/Toby and Obie since he was 12 weeks old and the hard work is really now starting to pay off.
German Shepherd to be proud of.
Liz has have been working hard in teaching Jurgen new things to keep him more focused on her when out and about on their walks. The results are clear to see and Jurgen loves learning new things.
“Harvey” working his magic.
A lovely session with Gill and Harvey in the sunshine.
So proud of what these two have achieved since starting with us.
Very well done both of you. Setting the bar for a head to head challenge with Liz and Jurgen I feel. 🤔🤣🐶🐶
Another start of an intermediate course at Field to Park.
Some lovely place board work by one of our intermediate group participants last weekend.
Heal Work
Katie and Obie retuning after their puppy course to work on some advanced training. Well done.
Just over a week ago Wanda was unable to keep Blu sat while she stepped away. Now as you can see Blu is sat nicely upto 5m. This not only shows discipline and steadiness but also enhances the recall. Well done. 🐶🐶

Reactive dogs. !!!
Some can be easily corrected with the right training.
This is not an immediate solution but a massive step in the right direction.
Efforts equal rewards.
Older dogs can learn new tricks.
Well done Gill. 🐶🐶
This is our lovely Gill and Harvey on their first session with us 6 months ago.
To see their improvement and hard work check out the next post.
Lovely to have Issac and Remi back today and as you can see Remi has made great progress. Testament to the hard work Issac and his family have been putting in.
Well done Issac. 🐶🐶
Keeping your dog focused on you is a really important skill to master. Ensure that you are the leader not the follower.
Give us a shout to learn how to achieve this by enrolling onto either a group session or 1-2-1 lessons. 🐶🐶
Even small dogs can be retrievers.
Well done Dobby!!!
Here we have handsome Sidney and his handler Sue working on some close heal control. Great work both. 🐶
A young Labrador making steady progress.
Just a few weeks ago this lovely Cockerpoo would not deliver a retrieve to hand only dropping it way before getting back to her handler. Just a few simple drills and some hard work from her handler and what an improvement. Great work Deb and Hollie
Check this little dude out.
“Colin” 14 weeks old and walking to heal off lead like a pro.
Well done to his handler Rachel too. 👏👏
Older dogs can learn new tricks.!!!
Here we have an exceptionally well trained 3 yr old dog that has come along to learn new skills.
Keeping a dog stimulated and their mind active is extremely important and learning new skills is a great way to ensure a happy pooch.
It’s also lovely for handlers to continue learning too.
Hollie and her handler Deb have also taught us a thing or two at Field to Park, so win win all round. 👍👍
Jo and Winston now advancing to the “stop”command.
A very important skill that should be in every dogs/handlers locker
