Today or our day off a few of us went to help some Romanian rescues that have come over and need to find home 🥹 for the The Biggies' League non profit rescue.

It was one of the most rewarding things we helped so many dogs free of the thick matted hair and they were so happy afterwards! Especially in the heat at the moment.
When you have a skill and to be able to use that to help either animals or others is an amazing feeling. So so proud of everyone that helped.

We are dog groomers not because we want to earn money that’s just a bonus but because we love and care for animals.

So for anyone that’s helped towards the rescue from bringing in old dog beds and food to entering the dog shows. We can’t thank you enough and will carry on trying to help this non profit dog rescue as much as we can. Please send us a message if there is anything you can help with it will be truly appreciated ♥️

On another note it’s been 5 years since Kara opened up the high street salon and what a way to celebrate by doing what she loves helping dogs 🧚

3 of our wonderful fairies completed a cat grooming course with the wonderful Julie Harris! Who is amazing at grooming cats and has a lot of knowledge and experience!
The girls come back full of information and absolutely loved learning for the day!

FDM awards night 2024!

Our 4th year doing our awards to recognise the hard work, talent, determination and just being great within the salon 🧚

Our theme this year was s**t shirts which all the girls pulled off! 😂 our themes go into a poll and then it’s decided what we do!

Our winners this year were

Employee of the year - Sophie
Stylist of the year - Ellie-mai
Junior stylist of the year - Ella and Olivia
Assistant stylist of the year - Hayley
Most determined - Fran
Part time employee - India

All so deserved! Some hard work and flawless grooming has gone in to the past year!
And between us all we put our votes in for each category 🧚

A massive thank you to Val Pearson for transforming the salon into our tropical world with our shirts! And to little piggy in fenstanton across the road from the salon for the yummy buffet! And to Debbs Wain for the beautiful flowers for all the girls!

This is Murphy 🖤

It was his second groom with us today and he has a fear about his feet being groomed. He came to us because other groomers were struggling to get him done.
It’s crazy in just his 2nd visit he was so relaxed and let us just trim his feet without being worried! 🧚

Jax the cockerpoo puppy 🖤

It’s always good to get your puppies in from a young age once all the vaccinations are done. This helps them get used to all the noises and atmosphere of a grooming environment ♥️

Jax was superstar he’s booked in for 4 weeks to have a full groom and his coat shorter for let hope the summer is coming!!

What an amazing day!

Thank you so so much to everyone who donated to the Tombola and for each and every one of you who entered into the dog show! What a turn out 🥰

All money raised today was for The Biggies' League a non-profit charity that we adore, every penny goes into helping and caring for stray or abandoned dogs from Romania, big and small!!

The dog show raised an astonishing £274
And
The Biggies League stall raised £341.95

Making £615.95 in total 😱🥹 how amazing is that?!
