1 x Part time position available for 2 consecutive days a week.

Hours 8.30am - 4.30pm (1 hour for lunch)

Must be experienced with handling horses & working on a yard doing general daily yard duties to a good standard & a tidy level.

Rate of pay depending on experience.

*We are seeking a person for 2 days per week….

We are a family run business looking to recruit a confident and experienced person, we are based on the outskirts of Cambridge. (Barton CB23 7AE)

Hours approx 8am - 5pm (2 days per week) part time and for holiday cover if required.

Welfare of our horses is paramount therefore we require the following:-

A reliable, hard working, flexible and trustworthy person.

Ideally to have worked in the horse racing industry or has experience of working with horses of different types.

There will be quiet times on the yard and extremely busy times so good time management and using your time wisely is a must and going that extra mile would be super.

A live-in position is available.

A competitive salary is offered.

Ballard Down aka Basil

Basil is a super safe sweet gentleman who is easy to handle. Basil has been on sponsored rides and is happy to hack alone or in company. He is good with traffic and in open spaces.
Basils schooling is coming on well, he has three good paces and is popping a jump nicely.
Basil could turn his hand to anything and would make a great project for someone to make into whatever they would like him to be.
Requires a quick sale, priced accordingly.

🏡🐎😊 Retraining has commenced with our gorgeous girl 🐎 Kelly B 🐎 Our beautiful 5yr old filly went into training but has never raced as it wasn’t her forté so we are looking forward to seeing how she enjoys her work & to see what she really likes to do….Mark’s first impressions of her are good so watch this space for their progress together 😊⭐️🐴
