*We are seeking a person for 2 days per week….

We are a family run business looking to recruit a confident and experienced person, we are based on the outskirts of Cambridge. (Barton CB23 7AE)

Hours approx 8am - 5pm (2 days per week) part time and for holiday cover if required.

Welfare of our horses is paramount therefore we require the following:-

A reliable, hard working, flexible and trustworthy person.

Ideally to have worked in the horse racing industry or has experience of working with horses of different types.

There will be quiet times on the yard and extremely busy times so good time management and using your time wisely is a must and going that extra mile would be super.

A live-in position is available.

A competitive salary is offered.

Ballard Down aka Basil

Basil is a super safe sweet gentleman who is easy to handle. Basil has been on sponsored rides and is happy to hack alone or in company. He is good with traffic and in open spaces.
Basils schooling is coming on well, he has three good paces and is popping a jump nicely.
Basil could turn his hand to anything and would make a great project for someone to make into whatever they would like him to be.
Requires a quick sale, priced accordingly.

🏡🐎😊 Retraining has commenced with our gorgeous girl 🐎 Kelly B 🐎 Our beautiful 5yr old filly went into training but has never raced as it wasn’t her forté so we are looking forward to seeing how she enjoys her work & to see what she really likes to do….Mark’s first impressions of her are good so watch this space for their progress together 😊⭐️🐴

We have great facilities at Lordsbridge Arena which are just waiting to be used!….with the colder wet months approaching fast we are now getting our indoor arena booked but still have spaces/days available & I am regularly receiving enquiries from people asking if we have anything ‘going on’!

If you would like to hold a clinic/show here or by the hour please get in touch as there are clinic/show competitive rates available. (dressage boards/poles/jumps all available to hire)

Our arena can be hired hourly/half or full day.

It doesn’t have to be just horses….dog agility is great fun here too….so if there’s any dog groups interested pls get in touch 🐶

We have extra lighting for the outdoor manége & car park area.

It was great to welcome back David Titmuss & the Bedfordshire Carriage Driving Club for their monthly winter meetings here at Lordsbridge on Sunday…such an amazing spectacle of skill & fun with the horses/ponies/minis & their carriages, next meeting Sunday 14th November

I keep being asked if we are running any clinics here at Lordsbridge Arena well I’m happy to say Dawn at E-M Dressage training & events will be running hourly time slots on Tuesday evenings starting on 30th Nov then 7th & 14th December between 5-9pm, these can be booked direct with horse events.

Details of the Winter Dressage Series the course is £87 plus booking fee with horse events . There are 6 spaces left

Staff wanted……..We are looking for 2 people to join us to carry out all yard duties & assisting with pre-training our young stock. Confident, energetic experienced staff required for immediate start.
Ideally one vacancy will be Mon-Fri & the second vacancy will be Sat-Sun but we are willing to be flexible on both.

We are looking for a 'hands on' experienced person to join us in a full time position.
We have our own home produced TB racehorses, from broodmares, young stock to our race horses coming home for holidays. Must be experienced in handling/caring for & prepping the youngsters before going off to the training yard. To cover all stable duties including daily paddock management. Experience & confidence with handling our young stock is essential. We are flexible with working days but some weekend work may be required.
