Lovely evening on Wednesday doing a bit of dressage in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support!

Prince did his first real test with Georgina piloting and even gained a rosette - such a ⭐️

DJ really starting to settle in the boards now for a 2nd 😃

Well done to the Reaseheath Equestrian Centre events team for putting on a lovely events and the fab students that helped out!!

As the kids are having a lovely time in Spain I treated myself to a fab horsey bank Holiday!

DJ impressed improving once again at Eland Lodge Equestrian ODE - fabulously ran and super friendly as always!
Much more relaxed and focused in the dressage (but still lots of work to be done!) for a respectable 30, lovely SJ apart from the silly 4 faults due to a spook just before fence👻
Clear XC 🎉 a few time faults for 8th 😊

Then Prince’s turn for his first little outing - what an absolute ⭐️ taking it all in his stride!

George also earned his lorry dog badge behaving impeccably all day!

Absolutely shattered from a week of camp followed by PC champs.
A great weekend with friends and experience for all. Liv smashed her swim and run, average shoot(always the toughest phase for Liv) but struggled with a huge, complicated XC. Cilla’s had a tough year with one thing after the other and they just haven’t had the prep for such a challenge.
The main thing is they are all back safe and sound and can rest and reflect to move forward.
Absolutely lovely to spend time with our Tet family, Well done to all!!!

What a fab time Olivia,Cilla, DJ and I had back on camp!! Myself coaching and Liv playing!
Thanks so much North Staffordshire Pony Club for welcoming us back for a visit. We loved being with friends again both horsey and human 😃

How much weight can a horse carry?

In my experience, a horse can carry an infinite amount.

They can carry the weight of broken hearts, broken homes, and broken bodies. Countless tears sometimes comb their tangled manes. Moments when parents and friends cannot be there to help and hold a person, horses embrace and empower. They carry physical, mental, and emotional handicaps. They carry hopes and dreams; and they will carry the stress from your day when you can’t carry it anymore.

They carry graduations, they carry new careers, they carry moves away from everything familiar, they carry marriages, they carry divorces, they carry funerals, they carry babies before they are born, and sometimes they carry the mothers who cannot carry their own baby. They carry mistakes, they carry joy, they carry the good and they carry the bad. They carry drugs and addictions, but they also carry the celebrations.

They will carry you to success when all you have felt is failure. They will carry you, never knowing the weight of your burdens and triumphs.

If you let them, they will carry you through life, and life is hard, life is heavy. But a horse will make you feel weightless under it all.
