The Trec Trailer, bringing the fast growing sport of Trec to your yard. All I need is a field or an arena. Other obstacles have to be done at a compulsory walk.

Run by Michelle Cottee BHSAI (Reg'd), BHS Stage 4 Riding on the flat, Lungeing, UKCC Level 2 Equestrian Coach, NVQ Level 3 Horse Care and Management. I have a completely mobile set of equipment which I can bring to your yard if you fancy giving the Trec obstacles a go. Trec is growing in popularity, most people have heard of it,but are not sure what it is. It is a fabulous way to have some fun wit

h your horse and your friends. It is not as formal as some of the other equine disciplines, but there is just as much co-operation involved. It is a fabulous way of showing your horse new things and strengthening the bond between you. During my sessions we learn about the sport of Trec and learn about 2 of the competition phases - The Control of Paces and the PTV Obstacle phase. We practise in a relaxed and informal way and you will learn how to get the best out of each obstacle. I also teach you how the marking works in a competition. Trec is unique in that, you the rider, choose at which pace you wish to attempt some of the obstacles. Some of the obstacles are ridden, others are led so there is huge variety in what you are asking your horse to do. It enhances trust and co-operation both in the saddle and on the ground. SO WHY NOT GIVE IT A TRY!

An all day more challenging clinic. The clinic is for those who have completed the Introductory clinic. There will be a much greater ridden element as you should have been continuing to practicing and improve the groundwork skills.

This competition gives you the chance to ride across picturesque countryside along a route that has been checked for accessibility. The competition will take place mostly off road. Classes for individuals and pairs.

Trec Trailer will be holding sessions at Long Drove Dressage Centre in Somersham CAMBS. ALL Welcome. In hand and ridden groups. Maximum of 3 per group. Sessions last an hour and cost £30 per person. Suitable for any ability and youngstock (in hand). The sessions are very informal with the emphasis on having fun!!!! Rosette to all participants. Sessions must be booked and paid for in advance. Had a lovely afternoon at the Keysoe Riding Club Trec camp. Thank you for inviting me out. What a lovely bunch of people was a bit jealous as I would have liked to have been a camper myself!
