A cat sitter is a person who visits your home to feed, care and play with your cat whilst you are away. It's an ideal alternative to a cattery which can be very stressful to some cats. Cats are much happier staying where they feel safe and familiar, surrounded by the smells and sounds they know. I have now been visiting cats for 15 years and have a large client base so lots of references! It's als

o good for security reasons as i take in mail, can open/close curtains, water plants and i even drive an unmarked car! I can even have essentials waiting for your return. Text messages/emails can be sent as often as requested...including daily...for your peace of mind. Why I became a Cat sitter

The idea for me to set up my own business as a cat sitter stems back to when my Dad and his wife moved away from us and so I had to search myself for someone to feed my lot when we are away. I didn’t want to leave them in a cattery but our nearest cat sitter was a long distance away and the local pet sitters were more dog people. As I’ve always adored cats I thought it a brilliant business opportunity as there must be other cat owners with the same problem. So 15 years later here I am with a large customer base and have had the privilege of visiting a large number of cats; from tiny kittens to OAP’s (my oldest being 22 years young!). I have visited very very shy cats where I’ve had to work my socks off to get them confident enough to come to me and the other end of the scale, very bold cats that plonked themselves on my lap at the consultation! I’ve had to deal with the sadness of receiving emails/calls telling me a cat has passed away but then the excitement of those owners getting back in touch as they’ve adopted another cat. Each cat I visit has their very own personality and I’ve found none the same. One thing they all do the same is recognise me as the food and fuss lady, so once they’ve got to know me they happily greet me at the door which is a wonderful feeling!

I've had so many bookings for 2026 that I've had to sort my no service dates out for next year 🤣🤣 2026 dates are subject to change as time goes by so keep checking. Any dates that I have jobs booked in for will never be changed to a no service date, so don't worry about that.

This morning I had a message from Tinkerbell and Meatball's mum that made me very sad. Dear Tinkerbell has gained her angel wings 😢💔 It was very sudden so a massive shock to her poor Mum.

She was such a pleasure to visit and for a tiny panther she had a big personality and she adored treats! I last saw her last month and I'm so sad to think I won't see her again. Goodbye you beautiful girl, have fun over the bridge whilst you wait for your mum and Meatball, who both miss you terribly. I know when I next visit Meatball I shall miss seeing you're little face 💔 Sending massive hugs and condolences to her mum at this very sad time 🫂

Hi folks I'm back! Sadly I'm not very well. Whilst in London I came down with a stomach bug and it's knocked me for 6. I'm still very unwell and it's been a very long time since something has knocked me off my feet like this! Thankfully I have nothing booked in my diary for a few days so will take that time to bed rest and recover. I have messages waiting in my inbox which I will slowly get through over the next few days, so don't worry if you've not had a reply yet I will get to you but I won't be answering phone calls
