Just a reminder that I have very limited space left before Xmas now for grooms! If you would like an appointment, please let me know. Cancellations and changes do happen so I will do my best to get everyone in 🙂

Please could everyone double check their appointment cards or message me if needed to avoid any missed appointments as these could be filled by other dogs if necessary. I have been having a few late cancellations / no shows lately, which has a huge impact on a small business.

Hi Guys!
Bit of a 👎🏻 post today
I've been having an increasing number of no shows or late cancellations over the past few months. As you know, I adore my job and would do it for free if I could! However, the reality is I am a business and have bills and expenses to pay myself. I am unable to fill appointments in the case of no shows, which leaves me out of pocket and with gaps in my day. I work hard to run my day tightly around appointments to accommodate everyone, school runs, family commitments, therefore missed appointments have a big impact upon my day. My books are full weeks in advance and the missed appointments could go to others.
I do have a no show / late cancellation fee (-24hrs) of 50% of the groom price. Regularly missing appointments will result in being unable to book in with me again.
In the past 2 weeks alone I have lost over £300 in missed appointments.
Please be mindful to show up to appointments on time, or to give as much notice as possible if you're unable to make the date you've booked.

Thank you so much for supporting The Woof Shack through another year of business and keeping me busy! I love my job, beautifying your dogs and talking your heads off when my customers pop in (sorry!) 😂 I appreciate every single one of you and your generosity is truly heartwarming.
