I’m in the process of changing my booking system, this system can online bookings and payments. It will also automatically send booking confirmation, terms and condition emails etc, giving me more time to spend with the cats in my care.

Please can I ask all customers to check your holiday dates and cattery dates to ensure you are able to collect on your booking departure dates, within my opening hours and confirm these dates with me, as the majority of the time I have cats coming in the very next day. I’m aware on occasions problems arise, that often out of your control.

Happy New Year to you all.

Last year was a difficult year for me health wise and I’m sorry my communication wasn’t always the best, but the care for your babies was my priority.

Many of you may have already met my niece Summer who has been working along side me, caring for your babies when I haven’t been able to, including playing midwife to my CP rescues. (Photo attached to post) Summer also attends Rodbaston College studying Veterinary Care and Animal Management Courses. She also volunteers one day a week at a veterinary practice to gain additional knowledge and experience. So your babies are in safe hands in her care.

We will both be updating page too, to reassure you all while your babies have settled while you’re away.

Also any bookings made before the 7th of April 2024 have now been honoured so the prices going forward are:

1 cat 🐈‍⬛ £13 per day
2 cats 🐈‍⬛ 🐈‍⬛ £20 per day

The daily charges apply to the day of arrival and departure. Full payment is required cash, bank transfer or card on or before arrival.

Please note opening hours are:
8am - 10am & 4pm - 6pm

Arrivals and departures are by appointment only. This is a condition of our original planning permission, due to the lack of parking in the street. Please do not block my neighbours driveways.

On arrival please ring the bell, however I’m having intermittent issues with the WiFi so I don’t always receive notifications to my phone, if this happens please call me 07787256489. My number is also on the gate. Please ensure that you keep to the agreed drop off and collection times as I can’t guarantee I’ll be home as I often have other commitments and appointments for myself and Cats Protection. If you are delayed for any reason, please call to make me aware.

Anyone have a cat missing or know of anyone that does, she has been lingering in my garden for 3 days, chapel street, Heath hayes. She has been rummaging through rubbish bags to find food, I have managed to trap her tonight and she is inside in the warm with food. I have scanned her and she has no microchip.

Due to the increase in running costs there will be a price increase as of 1st May 2024. Please note this is only the second price increase since the cattery opened back in March 2016. As I’m sure you are aware, energy prices, food, litter etc have increased significantly.

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to customers old and new that have been very patient with me as my replies to your messages and enquiries have been delayed. The cats in my care are my priority. I’ve had a really stressful week with a poorly cat in my care (nothing contagious!) I was unable to contact the owners as they have been on a cruise and were at sea, for all of you that are going on cruises can you ensure I have an emergency contact for someone who is not away with you, incase this situation arises again. If anyone is still waiting for me to reply and I’ve missed you please drop me a message
