Our day yesterday … seeing double 👀👀 we had sibling day and it was carnage and fun all at the same time…

This lovely lady came to us very nervous about the grooming salon, and we have made small steps at each visit to help her feel more comfortable.

Today we wanted to celebrate her coming to see us while we were checking her in with the owners, normally she is happier to stay close to them the whole time… today she came and gave both of us a good sniff and said hello 👋 it was a small but great achievement 🐾❤️

He has some little parts that he doesn’t love but is comfortable that they are not stressful, and some parts that he is just so relaxed about and really enjoys 💤 which is great 👏

Appreciation for the dogs that’s need those added extras to help them through the groom 👏❤️🐾

This wonderful little lady is very much an individual (as are all of the dogs that come to us) we are so proud to see small progress with these dogs and help them build trust and become more and more comfortable on each visit. Some have had poor experiences previously some are naturally very nervous, all of these can make grooming stressful for dogs.
Here is a very happy example of groomer and dog building trust and creating a positive approach to a necessity of grooming.
She makes me smile every time and we can now complete not only a full groom comfortably but we can also clean her teeth with ultrasonic, she is healthy and happy this is always the aim.
We do our best to cater to each dogs individual needs here .groomed and the benefits over time speak volumes.

Handsome chap looking slick after his hand-strip.
This super excitable Parson Russell Terrier enjoys his grooms and is always happy to see us, he would rather spend his time playing but the owner managed to burn some of his energy giving us some calm time on the table. This allowed as to get a lovely finish on his coat today. Always brings a smile to our faces 😊

We do all we can to help puppies have the most pleasant positive experience possible, when grooming them. It is a foundation to the lifetime of grooming that they will require. 💛

We also like to help assist our clients with home maintenance and are always happy to answer questions you may have this may be regarding any aspect of home grooming. 🐩

This owner wanted to know how to clean her pups eyes…and got top marks ⭐️on the return visit as they were nice and clean and little puppy was also comfortable having this area tended too.

This pup is also quite nervous but has built up some trust and a little more confidence at each visit 🐾

Here you can see a Teddy type pet trim rather than a breed standard terrier trim, as this is the owner’s preference… and we saved as much coat as possible.
Sometimes you save as much coat as possible and see what you can make with what is left after removal of tangles ect and not a bad job if we do say so 🤎🖤

We are always here to give advice to owners on coat maintenance between grooms, and we are happy to recommend tools and products to use at home feel free to ask for help ☺️

Poodle puppy 🩶 this beautiful toy poodle has his puppy package and first full haircut owners opted for a Teddy trim 🧸

He did a great job at each stage and comes in super happy each time… we do our best to help each dog enjoy their grooming and encourage them into the salon of their own accord, puppy’s especially as it is so important they have the most positive experience possible.

Beautiful Border Terrier Handstrip in a breed standard pet style handstrip🐾
We always enjoy handstripping here .groomed and thought we would share but a few of the things we help our clients to consider when they decide to have a dog handstripped.

🐾Age (Young or elderly age will impact the groom e.g duration a dog can cope with being groomed)

🐾Health (Does the dog have any medical concerns that may impact the grooming process e.g Cushins)

🐾Tolerance (does the dog tolerate the handstrip process, sometimes pet dogs have sensitive areas and they are uncomfortable with this area being stripped)

Each dog is an individual and we treat each dog as such, amending and considering the dog on each visit to ensure we carry out a groom that is best for you and your pet.
