Today we went and tried our new local aqua treadmill π©΅...we have never used one before or seen a horse using one close up before so it was really interesting to see how it works their bodies...also great for fitness...thank you A&T Equestrian Aqua Treadmill!

Super fun beach ride this morning! π§π»ββοΈππ¬ We are fully booked for beach rides up until the end of June and the July onwards dates will be available shortly...
WE HAVE THE GREEN LIGHT πππ» and the girls are ready to come home!
We will be reopening from Thursday 14th May for private lessons and hacks aswell as semi private lessons/ hacks for members of the same household. Unfortunately we are unable to hold any lead rein/lunge lessons, riders need to be able to ride independently.
As with before lockdown we have implemented new rules and biosecurity measures please read them all and adhere to them at all times.
β’ Please practice the social distancing rule of 2 meters at all times.
β’ Please use the hand sanitizer provided on entry/exit and wash your hands thoroughly (to government guidelines) on arrival.
β’ The office, tack room and viewing shed/gallery are out of bounds - do not enter them.
β’ Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before the start time of your lesson/hack.
β’ When coming for your lessons/hacks please come with as little 'support' team as possible and where possible for non riders to stay in their cars.
β’ Our riding hats, whips, boots and high viz will not be available to borrow, you will need to have your own!
β’ Hats (to correct current standard), boots (with small heel) and gloves (freshly washed and clean) are compulsory when riding at this current time aswell as high viz for hacking!
β’ After your ride we would be extremely grateful if you could move on as swiftly as possible, as much as we love chatting with you all! π€£
β’ We will be running all lessons/hacks with change over times to allow minimal contact.
β’ When using the toilet please wash your hands thoroughly and use the paper towels provided, there will be anti bac wipes in the toilet please use these to sanitise anything and everything you touch and dispose of the wipes and paper towels in the grey bin outside of the toilet.
β’ All tack will be fully disinfected and sanitised after every customer.
β’ Your horse/pony will be tacked up ready and waiting for you, a staff member will hand you the horse and you will need to mount using the mounting block i
Today's task π₯΅...digging in the outdoor arena track and shifting rubber from one end to the other! Some beady eye viewers may also notice the bench and wooden poles have also been painted! π¨π

The sheep seem to of got the hang of it....the horses still need more practice! It's the only time you can hear everyone in the valley....π

So we have been a bit quiet on here recently as we went on an epic adventure to Everest Base Camp! ππ Take a look at this video of one of the ponies we saw... πππ they charge around like this with their bells up and DOWN(!!) the mountains!! π±π± I did buy a bell...but not sure our school horses would appreciate it...π€£
