Dogs escape during fireworks they panic and bolt , they will look for an escape routes to get away from the lights , the smell the horrific noise that come with today's permitted bombs .

Dogs will push past owners whilst at an open external door , jump through windows (sometimes through the glass ) and through cat flaps.

Your garden with the six foot fence is a mere inconvenience, most will scale to escape , they will go through or dig under , a small but safe inconvenience would be to keep your dog on a lead .

Dogs will slip harnesses and collars while on walks , doesn't matter if it's night or day , double up on the lead and don't think it's just a quick five minutes, you're setting your dog up to fail .

Whilst most pet owners absolutely hate fireworks and accidents do happen it's our responsibility to keep or pets safe .

Please be careful.

Morning everyone,

I didn message a couple people about being back today, but I feel just as bad if not worse from during the night, with the sweats, shortness of breath and constant coughing it’s just draining me.

I’m going to take today off and spend the weekend getting better,

I’m really sorry for letting all my furry bairns down but I’m no use until I’m 100% to give my all on walks, I really just want to be better.

Again, if doggo’s are needing let out for p*e’s I’d never leave anyone stuck, I can do a lunchtime run🩵

unfortunately there’s not much change to my cough, I hate letting my furry bairns down as I feel as though I’m letting myself down too. But if I’m not 100% I ain’t for my doggos either and it’s important to be alert and very much aware & right now I’m just a bit run down just due to not sleeping properly with this chest🙁

I will see how I’m feeling for Friday but right now I can offer pop in’s to those who aren’t home as I would never leave a doggy with their wee legs crossed🥹 but having them all running riot and trying to keep up with the excitement on walks is impossible just now I hope you all understand‼️

For those who don’t see this I will try my best to contact everyone individually, just know if your out I still got you covered for a p*e break🩵

Morning folks,

So yesterday was the start of it, I’ve got this horrendous cough & wheez again, I’ve been up more or less all night with this cough and I’m getting cold sweats.

I pushed through yesterday, but I feel pretty floored today, I will message everyone individually but I won’t be out on walks. I will still drop in for those who are home alone and need a wizz around lunchtime.

So sorry guys, but this seems to be going around, I only just got shot of it last month and it’s back with a vengeance🙁

I don’t like letting my clients down but I’m useless when I’m so weak. Chasing and calling on dogs today just ain’t gonna happen.

I’ll let you all know how I am later today for tomorrow’s walks,

Hope everyone’s had a great weekend and is prepared for storm ‘Ashley’ hitting us with a vengeance😅⛈️

Tomorrow’s walks will all be dependable on weather and if this wind causes any damage, but we will wait and see what we wake up to, don’t want me and your doggo’s taking off on a flying lesson like Mary Poppins 😅☂️

Everyone put your paws together✨🐾

Welcome ‘Creed’ to the pack🩵
This big lump is a cuddle monster who loves to be fussed over. We will grow our bond on walks & spend some days at the dog park so he can have the freedom without his muzzle🥹
He was so sleepy when I went in, but after a wizz of excitement I was showered in kisses🫶🏼

Muzzle by LAW, this young lad is so loving he definitely doesn’t need it, just wish they came up with some sort of temperament test so they could go without it‼️

HOWEVER, we will still try make Creed’s walks as stimulating on leash, plenty new places to sniff, give him plenty lovin’ & dog parks to blow off some steam 🤪

from Friday 1st - Monday 4th November I’m going on a little holiday 🫶🏼 so I won’t be doing walks the Friday or the Monday, I’ll be returning on the Tuesday to see all my furry bairns!

Can’t wait to get away and get a little break from reality‼️

Starting my own business and becoming a dog walker was the best decision I ever made! If you ever wanna make the jump just do it, its never too late. Here I am, 30.. stayed in school until 6th year, college for 3 years studying Graphic Design, retail for 7 years, Support work for 3, telecomms engineer for 1 then finally I desided f**k it✨ I WILL NEVER LOOK BACK 🤌🏼 if you ever even just think about the jump just do it, being at work and being happy is just amazing for your own mental health and wellbeing💙 the name of my company Wellness Walkies comes from the bad place I was in for a while.. Dogs and animals are therapy to me so why not make it a job? I love walking and its great for my fitness too. I cant say it enough, if you wanna do it, do it..
