I have always said that time goes by so fast being involved in Gundogs

Can't believe it was 7 years ago that INT FTCH Miller McDuff "Paddy" won the Irish Retriever Championship for the first time.

Never did I imagine that he would go on to win it for a second time 2 years later in 2019 and the IGL Retriever Championship in the same year and be the first and only so far the win both championships in the same year 👌

Paddy will be 12 next month and is still going strong 💪

2024 was another busy year for us - started off with a trip to America followed by lots of training days and judging appointment’s then a summer of Working Tests and Game Fairs (Team Ireland once again doing the country proud 🇮🇪), a holiday with the Wife and then before we knew it - shooting season!! 💥 🦆 Someone once told me “Any year you win a trial is a good year”

Lots of laughs, a lot of travelling and a lot of money spent on bloody dogs 😱

Due to some cancellations the following dates are available for Training Holidays in 2025;

Bungalow available - 17th - 23rd March
Training days available - 18th, 19th, 20th March

Bungalow available - 5th- 10th May
Training days available- 6th, 7th, 8th May

Bungalow available - 16th - 29th June
Training days available - 17th, 18th, 19th, 24th, 25th, 26th June

Bungalow available - 14th - 20th July
Training days available - 15th, 16th, 17th July

These are for groups max 8 handlers
Options to change dogs throughout day

A busy few weeks for us again 🌍

Not much time in between travelling back to Scotland from Devon after the IGL and then heading to Italy to judge the European Retriever Championship 🇮🇹

Massive congratulations to Tucker Monday on winning this years IGL Retriever Championship and all in the awards.
Thanks must go to the host and his team of keepers and beaters, judges, guns and the IGL committee.
A special mention to fellow countryman John Peach on his 4th Place 👏🏼

We then headed to Italy to judge this years European Championship alongside David Logan Stefania Gandolfi and Stefano Martinoli
The hospitality shown to us from all those involved was fantastic.
We seen some great dog work over the 2 days.
Well done to the award winners 🥇 🥈 🥉

Now to have a bit of a rest for a few weeks 😴
Won’t be long before it is test season again so we will be doing viewings at the start of the year for the Game Fairs and Skinners World Cup.
