🐾 Having a puppy is really exciting but let’s be honest it’s hard work!

🐶 We all want that perfect dog.

🐕‍🦺 Sometimes they just don’t listen and that can be frustrating.

🐕 However if I started again with a new pup I would do this.

🐾 Hand feed them their food and here’s why.

🐶 Dogs like to work and earn their food it’s that simple so make they work for their food.

🐾 If you do this you will have a far more obedient dog!

Did you know that dogs have about 300 million olfactory receptors in their noses, compared to only about 6 million in humans? This incredible sense of smell makes them amazing at detecting scents and changes in their environment. 🐕‍🦺👃

It’s not just about smelling their favorite treats or tracking a scent on a walk; this superpower is why dogs are so invaluable in search and rescue missions and detecting various health issues in humans. They can even be trained to sniff out certain diseases!

So next time your furry friend stops to sniff something on your walk, remember they’re experiencing a whole world of scents we can hardly imagine! 🌍👃
