We have made the decision to temporarily close the field due to the awful amount of rain we have had and the need for improvements and maintenance.

If you have any bookings currently active, you will be contacted individually IF we have to cancel your booking. If you don't hear from us then you can assume your booking is going ahead. But as of today, 5th March 2024, no new bookings will be taken until we reopen.

We are hoping to reopen again in May 2024 with a new website and further improvements to the field and plenty of additional facilities for the dogs.

All bookings that have or might be cancelled will be refunded. Refunds can take upto 5 business days to appear on your bank statements.

Thanks for your understanding and we look forward to showing off the new field facilities :-)

Due to maintenance around the field and carpark, weekends are closed until Saturday 17th June. Weekday bookings that have been made are still confirmed.

Additional hours are 10:00am - 5:00pm Friday 7th and Monday 10th.

Good morning. It seems that the M4 JCT30 is closed (3rd July), we do not know exactly what the situation is with regards to traffic and road closures. However, we would advise that you double check your route and consider alternative routes in if necessary 🙂

Good morning! It appears that there's been a collision in the main lane coming from the M4 which is currently blocking the lane. You will need to use the alternative lane through Pontprennau/Lisvane.

This weekend was originally closed for maintenance, however, this has been postponed and will take place at another time.

We have decided to open for this weekend with extended slots on both days.

For this weekend only we will be open from 7am - 8pm on Saturday and 8am - 5pm on Sunday

We are getting lots of emails regarding difficulties in booking. At the moment we cannot see any issue with the system but we are still investigating. Please bear with us whilst we investigate and we will update here.

We've had a few people turn up on the wrong days, so we have now introduced a text reminder service when you book and also a list of who has hired the field. This sign can be found behind the "Please wait here sign" near the entrance. Please refer to this before entering to ensure your booking is correct.

OPENING TIMES UPDATE:

We have now extended our Saturday opening times to 5pm.

Weekday Evening time slots will adjust as follows...

Twighlight start at 530pm - 8pm
Standard slots 5pm - 530pm

These times will adjust through until the spring/summer.

Due to significant rain fall and a very saturated dog field we have decided to close it for this weekend (30th - 31st January) to give it some rest. We know that for many of you the field is your safe place with your dog and we are sorry to have to close it, but the ground has already been taking a lot of footfall and is already churned up quite a lot.

You should have received an email regarding the closure and what you can do next. Please respond via email.

Once again, sincere apologies ad we look forward to seeing again shortly :-)

It's a beautiful day to be using the field today, a bit slushy but beautiful skies! 🌞

We would like to share with you our '2 Late Strike' policy, if we have reports of users leaving the field late or if we spot users leaving after their alloted time we will restrict their use of the field for 4 weeks. You have 2 strikes, on the second strike we will restrict your use, all future bookings will be cancelled and you will not be able to book for 4 weeks.

Please use the following email to report any field misuse and we will log and discuss the misuse with the reported user.

You are reminded that you MUST vacate promptly and be OUT of the field BY your end time, not after. Ofcourse there is no immediate rush to leave the car park, just the field.

We hope you all understand that punctuality is important in other users having fair use.

We've installed a new video door bell that you can use to get in touch with us if anyone has any problems whilst at the field.

Simply press the bell once and wait for assistance :-)

The bell can be found just at the first gate above the sanatise station.

As an idea for enrichment for the doggos we got a hold of 20+ Christmas Trees and replanted them to create a Christmas Tree forest for the dogs to sniff and enjoy! Big shout out to The Dutch Garden Centre

Due to new Welsh covid restrictions coming into force tonight, we can no longer accept multi households using the field.
Bookings will be restricted to a single house hold until further notice.

Please be respectful of the rules as all visitors will be monitored using CCTV to ensure the rules on multiple households are not broken.

If any bookings have been made for multi households then we will be arranging refunds on the difference for additional users.

To help make things a bit easier and safer, we've introduced a new Red light system to let others know the field is on use.

From your next visit you will clearly be able to see if someone is in the field with the help of the red light. If its on then it means someone is using the field, if it's off then the field is free.

This does NOT replace the need to lock the gate, this is an additional step to make is visually easier, particularly during twilight sessions.

The switch for the light is on the inside right as you enter the gate, use this light in conjunction with the lock and key system 🙂

Hello everyone. Please please be aware that if you've booked a slot with the old system and it HASN’T been approved then its very likely your slot is not available. Unfortunately Facebook's booking feature crashed and we were unable to see bookings coming through.

If you turn up without an approved slot you may be turned away due to another confirmed booking.

By the end of December all old bookings will have cleared and only bookings on the new system will exist.

We know this may be a really inconvenience but we were unable to do anything about it.

We have a new climbing frame for the dogs to use. We would kindly ask that ONLY dogs use this frame, it is not suitable for use by children or adults. This also applies to our dog agility equipment 🤪
