Yesterday, we said a heartfelt goodbye to a very special guest of ours, Alfie, who has been a big part of our hotel family from the very beginning. He was our second ever guest, who over the years became such a big personality for everyone at the hotel, especially for his pals. Now he’s off on his biggest adventure yet, moving all the way to Australia with his Mum! 🇦🇺🦘

Now you’ll get to have your very own ‘Island in the Sun’, which we’ll know you’ll absolutely love! You were always the first to find a sunny patch to soak up at any opportunity you could get! 🤣 And while you’ve spent so much time with us happily on squirrel watch, we’re sure you’ll find plenty of new critters to keep you busy all day long 😆🦗

Good luck on your big move Alfie! All of us, along with all of your pals here are going to miss you so much! You’ve been an absolute joy to have here with us and we’ll always remember you fondly. Safe travels and lots of love to you and your Mum from all of us! ❤️🐾

Today our princess Hattie turned 11 years young! 🥰 And she even got to celebrate her birthday here at the hotel with all her pals and her brother, Hamish! 🥳 She’s had the absolute BEST day so far celebrating her paw-ty, having lots of fusses and kisses and running around having a blast! 🎉

🐾 MEET DEWI!! 🐾

Hi pals! I’m Dewi the Cavapoo! I might be new to the hotel, but I’ve settled in like I’ve been here the whole time! 🥰 I love my new furriends, but my favourite pal so far has got to be Coco the Shih Tzu! 😝 We play all day long and she’s really helped me settle in during my stay! 🐶 I’m particularly fond of the whole team, and there’s nothing else I love more than lots of fusses and cuddles from them! I could have cuddles off them all day, everyday! 😍 I also have super long eyelashes which the team tell me they absolutely LOVE! 🤭

🐾 MEET LOKI!! 🐾

Hi everyone! I’m Loki the Shih Tzu! 🐶 I’m new to the Hotel and this is my first ever big boy stay! I’m having an absolute blast so far and am enjoying my holiday meeting loads of new pals! 🥰 I have athritis which I have medicine for, but that doesn’t stop me running around have the best time ever! I mostly like to lie down on my favourite chair and watch the world go by, but my absolute favourite thing so far is to have lots of cuddles and kisses from the whole team! 😍 My favourite pal so far is Alfie the King Charles Cavalier! We have so much fun together playing chase 💙

🐾 MEET GIGI!! 🐾

This beautiful girl has been coming to the hotel for the last few months for her holidays! She’s always been such an outgoing little girl or as some of us would say - very comical! 🤣 She absolutely LOVES running around the place with the most hilarious zoomies we’ve ever seen, and she really knows how to put a big smile on all of our faces 😁 She has settled in so well and has made so many new friends since first coming to stay ❤️ Gigi also loves to LITERALLY hug our legs as her way of asking us to return a hug to her! How adorable is that! 🥰

Today, we have had the devastating news that one of our pack, Lando, has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Lando came to us as a puppy, and stole all of our hearts. For more than 18 months, Lando came to us for day care, weekends and holiday stays and loved every minute of his time with us, as we did with him. He was a wonderful little chap, who was always so excited to see us, gave us a lot of laughs with his noises (we’ve never heard anything like them!) but also gave us all a lot of love and cuddles. To say that we will miss him doesn’t seem enough - he was a part of the hotel and we are so sad that we won’t enjoy his company again. We’re sending all of our love to Steve, Collette and Eliza. We’ll remember him and love him forever. ❤️❤️❤️

🎉🐾 HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALFIE & CHESTER!! 🎉🐾

This week we had not one but TWO birthdays!!! And they both turned 4!! Alfie’s birthday was last weekend so he was able to celebrate with all of his pals on Monday during daycare 🎂 He had the best belated birthday paw-ty ever! We celebrated Chesters birthday yesterday and he even got some doggy cupcakes and a new toy from his pawrents as he spent his birthday on holiday with his pals at LDH! Lucky boy! 🥳 We spent both birthdays having lots of cuddles and playing all day but most importantly….HAVING SO MUCH FUN! 🎉

We hope both of our boys had the most SUPER day ever and enjoyed their LDH paw-ty! 💖🐾

Hi furriends and pawrents, I’m Maverick, the cream long-haired Dachshund!
