Flood update

As you may know, our Hospital has been closed for the past week due to flood damage.

We are pleased to share that the site will be reopening from 6pm on Thursday 28th November 2024, initially for 24/7 care for urgent and emergency cases only.

This means that from 6.00pm on 28th November to 8.30am on 2nd December, we will only be offering emergency support. Rest assured, our full service will resume as normal on Monday 2nd December 2024.

Please note that pre-existing appointments scheduled for Friday 29th November will be accommodated at the hospital, where possible. However, it may be necessary to reschedule some routine appointments, and if so our team will be in touch as soon as possible. We will continue to accept new emergency cases throughout the day.

If you and your pet find yourself in an emergency before our hospital has reopened, please call our usual number: 029 2000 1454.

Please note that our Cardiff branch will be closing permanently at 6pm on Thursday 28th November 2024. The phone lines will then be diverted back to Valley Veterinary Hospital and will be supported by our night team in the usual manner.

If you’re a member of our Pet Health Plan, your membership will continue as usual from our hospital, no matter the Valley branch you registered with originally.

⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️URGENT UPDATE- VALLEY VETERINARY HOSPITAL CLOSED DUE TO FLOODING⚠️⚠️⚠️

❗️❗️REPOST FROM VALLEY VETS INCASE ANY OF OUR CLIENTS ARE NEEDING OUT OF HOURS CARE❗️❗️

Due to the current weather conditions we have had to make the decision to close our hospital site. We will still be operating an emergency service from Park Vets, Sanatorium Road, Cardiff, CF11 8DG

All current inpatients and team members have been evacuated safely.

Our phone lines have temporarily been diverted to VetsNow, Newport, who will be providing emergency cover whilst we relocate our team safely.
