We have some space in the diary so are offering some additional classes at our outdoor 5 acre private field venue in Michaelston Le Pit (near Dinas Powys). These sessions will focus on recall and engagement games and loose lead walking.

We will have a class at 1pm for puppies under 8 months that are currently booked on a puppy course or have completed one and another at 2pm for dogs over 8 months. The over 8 month class is suitable for dogs that have started or completed any of our courses.

These sessions will be perfect for those that want to brush up on skills, practice in a new environment and/ or just want to have some fun with their dog!

Classes can be booked individually or together (£20 per class).

Recall 1-2-1’s! Are you yet to let your puppy off lead? Is your adolescent dog struggling with distractions? We are running specialist recall 1-2-1 sessions at our field venue this Saturday afternoon from 1-5pm. The sessions are only 30 minutes long, so perfect for puppies that may tire quickly. We will follow this up with a recall group workshop in two weeks (Sunday 21st May) at Pontcanna fields to practise and proof your dogs recall! Book both sessions for £90. Does your puppy pull and dart about on the lead? Check out Cooper the Cocker Spaniel’s progress 5 days into his two week residential training stay with us at ProPups! We have worked on recall, recall around distractions, loose lead walking and confidence so far. We are EXPERTS in puppy training and can take the strain off you with our super efficient, reward based and FUN training. After training 1000’s of puppies ourselves and coaching 10000’s of puppy and owner teams in class we can teach behaviours in super fast time with our perfected handling and communication- meaning we just have to pass the reins over to you once puppy knows what to do! You wouldn’t learn to ride on a horse that hadn’t been broken in. Residential training is the fastest and most effective way to boost your pups education 🐾 have a new puppy and a holiday booked? We haven’t posted a residential training video for aaaaages because 1. I’m rubbish at technology 2. We only have very limited spaces for residential training… however, we do still offer the service! We usually only take one puppy at a time now and our favourite thing is puppy foundations. Bronwen came for a two week stay with the priority being house training (which she has nailed), especially since she was a nervous/ excited submissive pee queen 👑, and recall, which you’ll see she has smashed! We also taught basic foundations like a ‘leave it’, stay, sit, down, settle on a bed/ send to bed and loose lead walking. She also socialised with a wide range of dogs and had all important pub visits (during which she fell asleep 🤣).
