Good afternoon, everybody

This week we visited another new regular customer named Katrina.

She is the proud owner of this beautiful aquarium that Mikeys Aquatic Services had collected, delivered and installed a few months ago.

Katrina decided to utilise our full professional services from initial consultation and design ideas, right through to installation and regular ongoing maintenance.

Katrinas aquarium is a great example of one of our professionally lead projects.

The aquarium looks colourful, bright and exciting.

But more importantly it is a healthy and thriving ecosystem with excellent water quality. Not to mention the livebearers are already breeding!

This week I visited a regular customer of mine named Ross.

He is the proud owner of the bright and colourful aquarium.

To keep it maintained at this standard we attend every three weeks, a typical visit would involve the following tasks.

Full master test kit.
Full spectrum Water test✔️

50% water change
Water treatment including de chlorinator and and the addition of bacteria ✔️

Deep substrate cleanse✔️

Removing any algae that may have developed over the aquarium and/or ornaments. ✔️

Cleaning lights ✔️

Every other visit. Maintenance of fluval 206 external that runs the aquarium ✔️

Here at Mikeys Aquatic Services we are experiencing a last-minute rush before Christmas

All you lovely customers want your aquariums looking nice and clean ready for the big day…. Which means a 7 day working week at the moment!

Yesterday we visited Liam who is the proud owner of this bright, fun and exciting aquarium.

We recently delivered and installed this aquarium for Liam and to ensure that the it stays at this high standard and most importantly his fish are happy and healthy we have agreed a regular maintenance and care package

Good morning everybody.

As you can see this week, we visited John to take care of his beautiful Malawi aquarium that seems very popualar with everyone on the page.

The aquarium is really developing now with lots of babies and everyone in there is happy and healthy !

I have also uploaded a video in which I explain my fortnightly routine and give you some tips in regards to looking after your Malawis. I hope you enjoy it.

Good morning everybody.

Earlier this month we converted a traditional community aquarium into a newly formed Malawi ecosystem.

As a part of the transformation we installed a Fluval FX6 external filter and new Fluval Sky L.E.D lights.

We changed the substrate to a coral sand and also used Ocean rock for the aquascape.

Both these options are ideal as they will naturally buff the water to an alkaline pH.

We seeded the filter canister with a bacteria bomb and treated the water with sechem
prime and Stability.

The livestock was added a few weeks later once the aquarium had time to settle.

We are very happy with the results and are happy to share that everthing is healthy and thriving.
