💥☀️KEEP YOUR ANIMALS SAFE ☀️💥

~ There are hot weather warnings for the UK for today/this weekend. We wish these posts didn't still need to be shared, and we're sure our supporters are very careful and responsible with the animals in their care, but ...

Leaving dogs in cars is obviously something to avoid - and there's the increased risk of theft at the moment too - but it's also important not to take them out when it's too hot for them - and it's fine for them to miss a walk or two if that keeps them safe.

Confining an animal to a room such as a conservatory also poses a risk in this weather. Shutting a dog in the garden can cause problems too if the shade disappears (I'll never forget reading a very tragic story years ago) and again, a dog unsupervised in a garden is at risk of escape/theft.

Keep your beloved dogs and other animals safe from the high temperatures - and put some water out for the wildlife too. It could be life-saving

We've been pretty quiet since the lockdown came back into place on the 19th December apart from the odd welfare groom of existing clients and rescue dogs. Hopefully there is a light at the end of the tunnel soon within reach 😊
