🌟I'm really excited to share with you all a new blog post inspired by a communication I experienced with an amazing horse called Stella.

⭐The original intention was to tune in and see how she was feeling and what she might need physically, and to let her share anything else that would help her to be comfortable. Rather than covering these topics she launched straight into showing me about star constellations, ourselves as beings of light, seeing things from different perspectives and following our heart 💖

I’m currently visiting family in Cyprus and had a couple of ‘ill health animal communications’ come through which really needed help as soon as possible, so I got up early and found somewhere quiet to tune in. It’s always a hard balance with animal communication work of taking time off and still being there for the animals. I really enjoyed being in this spot this morning though! 😊

🐴Photo is of Fidi, the dressage horse that was with me when I started experiencing animal communication. I was also learning about NLP at this time and I can remember playing around with what happens if I 'send him images' of the perfect walk - canter transition. (we had already been working towards these so he was capable and ready for them, they just often ended up a bit on the forehand) I remember being surprised that we did then in fact produce an amazing uphill transition exactly where I was imaging it to happen! I'm sure this was a combination of whatever I was embodying in my energy as a result of setting up the intention of the transition coming to fruition in the way I was imagining, along with the communication of this through the images to him. I feel like there are so many elements to the energetics of two beings coming together and lots to explore as we become more conscious of our effects and our part in the outcomes we experience with the horses 😀

⭐Introducing Star, also known as Super Nova⭐

⭐I thought it would be fun to introduce him to you and share about the journey we had together. To share insights into what he taught me when he was with me as a horse in his physical body and also about some of the things he pops into my consciousness to let me know about now.

⭐Star was a young Danish warmblood gelding that I bought during my one of my ‘gap years’ before uni, to produce as a dressage horse. I was a working pupil for a dressage rider and had my sights set on getting onto an U21’s team. For those not in the know about the dressage world this was a fairly impossible goal or even idea with no financial backing and without a Grand Prix schoolmaster at my disposal!

⭐Star had a strange habit of always kicking out at his stable walls and pulling faces towards the back of his body, his back seemed to be sore more of the time than not, he squared off one hind hoof more than the other, he hated hacking on his own and we spent a lot of time on two hind legs both in the arena and out hacking..……….

⭐It wasn’t an easy time, but because of Star I learnt not only about training a young horse, but also equine ulcers, chiropractic treatments for horses, massage for horses, sitting straight as a rider and much more. Through our time together the lady that would come and massage him ended up teaching me a lot of the massage techniques so I could massage him myself. I spent hours pondering how I could get my body ‘straighter’ so I didn’t contribute to the problems and regularly visited an osteopath for myself and became obsessed with yoga, dabbled with pilates and then later on started Alexander Technique lessons.

⭐Some how Star and I did actually get ourselves selected to be on an U21 British Dressage team and went ahead and successfully competed together at a small international competition, something that I had always wanted to do. Looking back that was quite a monumental achievement in itself.

⭐The truth of it was that Star never did really enjoy being a dressage horse and eventually I made the heartbreaking decision to sell him. Much to my surprise he found himself the perfect human that was looking for her very own Black Beauty that she could love and enjoy grooming and hanging out with. This was quite a novel concept to me back then that you could have a horse and not want to ride them, I remember thinking how lucky to have found such a person for a horse that was clearly not enjoying being a competition horse!

⭐More recently Star unexpectedly came into my consciousness as I was remembering some of the training sessions we had had together. The memories were not very pleasant, and it was a reminder of how harsh some of the experiences we had endured actually were. At the time they were ‘normal’ and I thought that was how you got from a to b with a horse, and being trained by an Olympic rider I believed they knew what they were doing, so followed what I was shown and did what I was told. Star showed me some of the training moments and along with some words he was showing me how it is the culture and what we are surrounded by that produces the actions and ways that we as people behave and be with each other and horses. I came to realise that the reality of the world we are living in is one that has been created by the culture of those that came before us. Somehow layers started peeling away and clarity started to come through. Of course we all have choice in each moment, but when the normality around you is showing you one way, the chances are that is what you will absorb and start to become and follow that way.

⭐That is, until there is a moment of realising and seeing that maybe there are other ways. Questioning what you are being shown and feeling into what actually feels ‘right’ and ‘good’ for both you and the horse. This moment came for me quite a few years after my journey with Star, whilst I was on a practitioner training in Equine Facilitated Learning. What came after that moment for me is a whole other story that I’ll share in another post another day.

⭐Star bringing his black horse wisdom to me on this more recent day was quite unexpected and felt like it opened up the possibilities a whole path in front of me. A path that is inspiring me to want to be ‘back in the game’ in a different way. To be part of things being different in the equine worlds for both people and horses. I’m not sure I necessarily want to be out competing, but the spark for being with and around the horses is definitely there, wondering how this might come about this time around.

⭐Something that amazes me is how the learnings from Star continued to come to me even when I thought our journey together had finished long ago. Something that comes as I write this is the understanding that we learn things in the moments with the horses and animals in our lives, and we never quite know when those learnings will re visit us or be awakened in us in the future. Once you have connected with an animal the energetic connection will still be there in years to come if you are open to it.

⭐If there are horses or other animals in your life you remember fondly, just taking a moment to bring yourself to stillness and think of them from your heart. Take a moment to re ignite and strengthen that connection and maybe you will receive some messages or insights from them in the coming days and weeks too. If you do I’d love to hear about them :0)

🤩Thank you to everyone and all the animals that were part of making 2024 the wild and wonderous year that it was, and here's to 2025 and all that is to come!!

🐴I find there is something fun about imagining into this time next year and wondering what I will be looking back on over the year, what hindsight will I have gained, what will I have done that I know now I'll be doing, and what other opportunities will come along as the year progresses that I have no idea about yet. All the people yet to meet, new learnings and fun along the way.

⭐️In many ways I feel less like this time of year is an actual beginning time, as I feel like i'm still in hibernation! But there is something about it being a useful point to choose to look behind, to be where I am now and then look forward to what might be coming in. Some of the NLP Timeline work I offer does exactly this, if you'd like to find out more about what that's all about just drop me a message.

🐴When horses have a sore gum, or sharp teeth they let us know in different ways other than opening their mouth and showing us. It would be great if they could just do this!

🐴A horse I helped with recently had started behaving differently out hacking and did the classic rearing bolt upright as a way of communicating something was wrong. The horses person had already had the teeth done recently, and the back checked regularly so it was a bit of a mystery as to what was going on for this horse. When I tuned in with them I received that emotionally they felt really stable, they wanted to be going forward, it wasn't that they were worried about anything. They felt strong physically, and like they had plenty of energy. And then something that I thought was just a small bit of information that might help was that I was receiving a sensation around back molar teeth. I questioned myself, as I knew they would have had their teeth recently checked, but wrote it down and passed the information on anyway. Something I've learnt to always do now!

🐴A few days later I heard from the horses people and it turns out when the dentist first looked in they didn't find anything, then they had a second look and to everyone's surprise the horse did actually have a sharp back molar and some ulceration on the gums. I'm writing this not to say 'hey look what I can do', but more to say, if you're horse is behaving differently, even if you've had everything checked, be open to checking again and maybe even again as there is usually something to be found as to why they do the things they do. Luckily this horses person was persistent to find out the root cause of what was going on🙂

Todays view is not the bright sunny beach I usual share……..I’m hunkered in sheltering from the storm that’s making its way through Wales, recovering from flu and catching up on essential admin things! I had a couple of interesting communications this week that I’ll share about with you tomorrow 😊

It's that time on a Sunday when I have a quick reflection over the last week. The communications I've experienced with cats have been really interesting, I think I might start calling 'cosmic cat communications' as they often seem to enjoy giving messages about things beyond the physical realms at the moment😺

There has been a variety of horse communications, some asking about behavioral issues, some checking in with how the horses are emotionally, some asking about horses preferences and some with the intention of how we can help them with healing, or what could help them be most comfortable. Its been so heart warming to be part of bringing the animals messages through to their people, and experiencing and witnessing all the love that flows between the people and animals, both always wanting the best for each other 🩷

There is a few communication session spaces open for December, and the 'Let the Horses Speak' communication offer continues until the end of this month too so if you are thinking of booking in please do drop me a message so I can make sure you are scheduled in 🙂

🐴This is Oli, the first horse I was given way back when I was 16. He was a retired hunting horse, who I would have to describe as a wonder horse🦄He made dreams come true and together we achieved and experienced what was to me the seemingly impossible✨ I wanted to be a dressage diva and he loved hunting so we had to meet in the middle! With him I jumped things I would never have imagined I ever could, and in return he cantered sideways down the center lines on most of our dressage tests and around most of the pony club rallies we attended. He even got himself banned from the Riding and Road Safety test day🤣

🐴A few days ago I came across a communication I had with Oli back in May of 2020, where I was asking him what to do next with all the animal communication work. He replied very to the point 'Keep going' 'Put fear behind you' 'Stay plugged in' and again 'Keep going' So over the last few years I've been doing just that, and come up with various ways to keep going, put fear behind me and stay plugged in! I'll be writing a bit this over the coming months and share with you some of the tools and practices that have helped along the way.

🐴I wanted to share this with you as an example of the types of questions we can ask our animals if we would like to hear their perspective or ideas about a situation, rather than questions aimed at asking them about themselves. There are so many types of questions we can ask them and I'll also be delving into that topic soon to🙂
