We are seeking a hard working and enthusiastic kennel assistant. Must be 17 or over, be competent and capable at handling all types of dogs. Duties will include cleaning kennels, walking dogs and overseeing the general care of the dogs.
We are looking for someone who is: - Hard working - Reliable - Punctual - Someone who can work independently and as a team - Someone who has a 'can do' attitude and is not scared to get stuck in to any task - The job is often physical so a good level of fitness is essential - Lastly and most importantly someone who is passionate. We are seeking applicants who are confident with all dogs, (some of our dogs are rescue dogs.) - Can communicate effectively with colleagues and members of the public - Is organised and able to follow structures and routines - & is committed to the job.
This is a weekend position, with a possibility of more days if needed.

If you’ve followed the story of how Hack & Hound began, you’ll know that we are partnered with ARC Animal Rescue Cymru because that’s the rescue that our gorgeous Stanley came from as a puppy.
